"HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER" WELCOMES RETURNING FAVORITES THIS FALL

Last season on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, Barney's bride was revealed and it's - wait for it - Robin. Marshall made it back from Atlantic City just in time for Lily to give birth to their son, and Ted rode off into the sunset with the one that got away, Victoria. This season on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, the story continues... and some of the fans' favorite characters will return to help tell it. Chris Elliot, Bob Odenkirk, Joe Manganiello, Ashley Williams, Michael Trucco and many others will be back to pick up where they left off.

"We're so proud of - and flattered by - the caliber of guest stars who appear on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER," said executive producer Craig Thomas. "These are all amazing actors that we're just huge fans of. The fact that they wanted to do the show even once? Amazing. The fact that they all still like us and wanted to come back? Even better!"

Chris Elliot returns as Lily's father Mickey, who was there to see his new grandson after she gave birth, in the episode "The Magician's Code, Part One," on May 14, 2012. This season, Mickey is still mooching off of Lily and Marshall.

The last time Bob Odenkirk appeared as Arthur Hobbs, Marshall's old boss, was in season six's episode "The Perfect Cocktail," when the Arcadian hotel was finally knocked down to make room for the new GNB headquarters. The episode aired Monday, May 21, 2011. Bob returns as Barney's lawyer who helps him draw up a pre-nup before he marries Quinn. Follow him on Twitter at @mrbobodenkirk.

Brad, Marshall's pal from law school played by Joe Manganiello, appeared in season five's premiere, "Definitions," in which Robin and Barney finally define their new relationship. The episode aired Monday, Sept. 21, 2009. Brad and Marshall's friendship will be put to the test this season. Follow him on Twitter at @joemanganiello.

Ashley Williams is back as Victoria, Ted's ex-girlfriend who ran out on her own wedding and into the arms of Ted during the season seven finale, "The Magician's Code, Part Two," on Monday, May 14, 2012. Victoria is back, and she and Ted are still going strong. Follow her on Twitter at @ash30.

And Nick, Robin's crush played by Michael Trucco, was last seen in the season six episode, "Hopeless" on April 11, 2011. After alluding to a future relationship, Robin and Nick finally get together. Follow him on Twitter at @MichaelTrucco.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER stars Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris and Alyson Hannigan and airs Mondays (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
