VH1 Ties the Knot with "Hollywood Exes" for a Second Season

Daphne Wayans Joins Cast as Newest Member of the Real Ex-Wives Club Featuring Nicole Murphy, Jessica Canseco, Sheree Fletcher, Mayte Garcia and Andrea Kelly

NEW YORK, Sept. 12, 2012 -- VH1 has greenlit a second season of the hit docu-drama series, "Hollywood Exes." The network's most famous A-list exes were a hit with VH1 viewers this season averaging 1.5 million viewers during premiere plus first encore each Wednesday night. Additionally, the "Hollywood Exes" have helped carve out Wednesday as a new must-see night for VH1 viewers: Wednesday's ratings for the network are up +108% from the same time period last year. The second season of "Hollywood Exes" is set to premiere in 2013.

"Our viewers fell in love with the sisterhood of the 'Hollywood Exes.' Their friendship, humor and common experience of crafting their next chapter in life made it a must-watch show for our audience," said Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President of Original Programming & Production, VH1. "We're extremely pleased to give VH1 viewers another great season with a gorgeous cast of strong women our audience loves to spend time with."

The series stars Nicole Murphy (ex-wife of Eddie Murphy), Jessica Canseco (ex-wife of Jose Canseco), Sheree Fletcher (ex-wife of Will Smith), Mayte Garcia (ex-wife of Prince), Andrea Kelly (ex-wife of R. Kelly), and newcomer Daphne Wayans (ex-wife of Keenan Ivory Wayans). Wayans was married to actor/comedian Keenan Ivory Wayans for four years and has five children with him. Longtime friend of Nicole and Sheree, Daphne will join the rest of the ladies as they continue to step out of the long shadows cast by their famous exes and support each other on the next stages of their lives.

"Hollywood Exes" is executive produced by Jen O'Connell and Nick Emmerson, Lisa Shannon and Lamar Damon are co-executive producers for Shed Media. Vernon Lynch and Jeff Dyson for Lynch-Dyson Entertainment also serve as executive producers. Nicole Murphy also serves as executive producer. Jill Holmes, Tom Huffman and Jeff Olde are executive producers for VH1.
