DEFEND. DENY. DECEIVE. DEBRIEF: ON THE HEELS OF "HOMELAND'S" EMMY AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING DRAMA SERIES - SHOWTIME(R) SETS TO AIR SEASON ONE MARATHON

Marathon Kicks Off Saturday, September 29th at 12 PM ET/PT & leads into Season 2 Premiere on Sunday, September 30th

Following this past Sunday's historic Emmy(R) wins for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for Claire Danes, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Damian Lewis, along with Emmys for Casting, Single-Camera Picture Editing and Writing, SHOWTIME invites viewers to catch up on its hit drama series HOMELAND. The network will air a marathon of the entire first season on Saturday, September 29th, beginning at 12 PM ET/PT to 12:30 AM ET/PT. Season two of HOMELAND premieres Sunday, September 30th at 10 PM ET/PT

SHOWTIME made history this year at the Primetime Emmy Awards, with HOMELAND receiving the network's first-ever series win. HOMELAND was tied for the most wins of any program this year with six Emmys, and was the first show in almost 20 years to win Emmy Awards for Outstanding Drama Series, Lead Actor and Lead Actress in the same year.

HOMELAND is the Golden Globe(R) and Emmy award-winning drama series that tells the story of Carrie Mathison (Golden Globe and Emmy winner Claire Danes), a CIA officer dealing with bi-polar disorder, who becomes convinced that the intelligence that led to the rescue of Nicholas Brody (Emmy winner Damian Lewis), a U.S. soldier who had been missing and presumed dead for eight years, was a setup and may be connected to an Al-Qaeda plot to be carried out on American soil. The series also stars Morena Baccarin, David Harewood, Diego Klattenhoff, David Marciano, Navid Negahban, Jamey Sheridan, Morgan Saylor, Jackson Pace and Mandy Patinkin. HOMELAND is based on the original Israeli series "Prisoners of War," by Gideon Raff, developed for American television by Howard Gordon & Alex Gansa. Along with Gordon, Gansa and Raff, the executive producers for season two are Michael Cuesta, Alex Cary, Chip Johannessen, Henry Bromell, Meredith Stiehm, Avi Nir and Ran Telem. The series is produced by FOX 21.
