Adult Swim Doubles Up on Laughs with Emmy(R) Winner "Childrens Hospital" and "NTSF:SD:SUV::"

Network Announces New Season Pickups for Both Comedies

Adult Swim announced today it has picked up the hilarious live-action comedies Childrens Hospital, the Emmy(R)-winning series created by Rob Corddry (Hot Tub Time Machine), and NTSF:SD:SUV::, created by Paul Scheer (The League), for an additional season of each. All new episodes continue to air Thursday nights at midnight and 12:15 a.m. (ET/PT), respectively, on Adult Swim. Season five of Childrens Hospital and season three of NTSF:SD:SUV:: will premiere in 2013.

Childrens Hospital explores the emotional struggles and sexual politics of a group of doctors charged with healthy libidos. Their dedication to their personal lives is relentless, interrupted only by the occasional need to treat sick children. The show's creative team is led by Rob Corddry (The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay) and fellow executive producers/writers Jonathan Stern (The Ten, Newsreaders) and David Wain (Wet Hot American Summer, Wanderlust).

An irreverent comedy with a twisted take on network medical dramas like Grey's Anatomy and House, Childrens Hospital is produced by Abominable Pictures, The Corddry Company and Warner Bros. Television Group's Studio 2.0. It is distributed by Warner Bros. Television and is based upon the Webby Award-winning digital series that debuted on TheWB.com in 2008.

NTSF:SD:SUV::, (AKA National Terrorist Strike Force: San Diego: Sport Utility Vehicle::) follows a group of reckless, aggressive and pun wielding government agents who work hard to protect San Diego from numerous terrorist threats such as a killer dolphin, Swedish virtual reality gangs, and a time traveling Leonardo DaVinci. Out of all the acronym-ed police procedurals that dominate the airwaves, this show has most acronyms.

The NTSF:SD:SUV:: creative team is led by Paul Scheer (The League, Human Giant) and fellow executive producers/writers Jonathan Stern (Childrens Hospital, Burning Love) and Curtis Gwinn (Fat Guy Stuck in Internet, Animal Practice). Putting their sunglass wielding spin on police procedurals like CSI and NCIS, each 15-minute episode of this action packed comedy is ripped from the headlines and then filtered through your grandparent's greatest fears. The show is produced by Abominable Pictures and 2nd Man on the Moon Productions.

Warner Bros. Television (WBTV) is one of the entertainment industry's most respected providers of original content, producing award-winning drama and comedy series for both broadcast network television and cable. WBTV is currently producing nearly 30 primetime series, with at least two shows on each of the five broadcast networks, in addition to cable's TNT, Adult Swim and Showtime.

Adult Swim, launched in 2001, is Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.'s network offering original and acquired animated and live-action series for young adults. Airing nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (ET/PT), Adult Swim is basic cable's #1 network with persons 18-34 and 18-49, and is seen in 99 million U.S. homes.

Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., a Time Warner company, creates and programs branded news, entertainment, animation and young adult media environments on television and other platforms for consumers around the world.
