CONTINUING FRED (ABC Family) - Mo Gaffney, Dan Castellaneta and Angelique Cabral have all been cast in the comedy pilot, about 20-something Winifred "Fred" Harris (Mimi Gianopulos), a newly-graduated slacker with an overbearing family who surprisingly finds purpose when she begins to teach at a local elementary school. The former duo will play her parents with Cabral as "an East Coast transplant living with her husband's mom." Bill Daly is behind the multi-camera project. (Deadline.com)

SHADOW COUNSEL (USA, New!) - Barry Schindel ("Castle") and David Semel ("Person of Interest") are set to team for a potential drama at the cable channel about "a former Army lawyer who, in order to crack an ongoing investigation, is recruited reluctantly by the FBI as a Shadow Counsel - a 'secret' lawyer who operates in the shadows, completely off the record to circumvent existing roadblocks in classified cases." They'll write and direct, respectively, the Universal Cable Productions-based hour as well as executive produce. (Deadline.com)

TERMINALES (ABC Family) - Aisha Dee ("I Hate My Teenage Daughter") has boarded the drama pilot, which follows a young woman's (Italia Ricci) life after she is diagnosed with a terminal illness. (Deadline.com)

UNTITLED ANDREW HOEGL PROJECT (Bravo, New!) - Andrew Hoegl ("Flipping Out") is developing a period drama at the cable channel "set in New York at the height of the Cola Wars in the 1980s, in which soda giants Coca Cola and Pepsi went after each other in their ad campaigns." UNTITLED BRIAN BAUMGARTNER PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Brian Baumgartner ("The Office") is set to star in a potential single-camera comedy at the Alphabet about Norman (Baumgartner), "a mid-level airline executive fights to experience winning again... at anything." (Deadline.com)
