OWN: OPRAH WINFREY NETWORK ANNOUNCES ALL-NEW SEASON OF "HOME MADE SIMPLE" RETURNING SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3
Los Angeles - OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network and Procter & Gamble have announced an all-new season of the popular daytime series "Home Made Simple," returning Saturday, November 3 (9 a.m.-10 a.m. ET/PT).
Each week, host Paige Davis ("Home & Family" and "Trading Spaces") and her team of designer, chef and carpenter experts meets a family who find themselves stuck in their quest of making over a room, tackling a once-in-a-lifetime event or repurposing a favorite antique. Paige and her team of experts, including a few surprise appearances from celebrity guests such as Mario Lopez and Cristina Ferrare, guide the family through a series of clever ideas, renewed recipes and surprisingly simple do-it-yourself projects as they build to the big on-camera reveal. With teamwork, the participants learn to complete their transformations and the "Home Made Simple" experts show the families short cuts to simplify their homes, so they can live their best lives.
This season, Paige and her team of experts help a happily married couple plan the ten-year anniversary event of their dreams, teach a diabetic dad how to create fast,affordable and healthy meals, assist a newly single mom looking for a fresh start transform her living room into a space the whole family can enjoy, and show a local football coach and his sons how to renovate their "man cave" to create a more welcoming space for mom and their teammates. Each week the team also takes the homeowners on inspiring field trips and reveals unexpected gifts and dream-come-true surprises.
Regular experts featured this season include designers Kenneth Wingard, Kate "Mr. Kate" Albrecht and Didiayer Snyder; chefs Jesse Brune and Stuart O'Keeffe; and carpenters Thad Mills, Amy Devers, Tracy Metro and Brooks Utley.
The 20-episode series, produced in collaboration with MediaVest LiquidThread, is based on the style principles featured on Procter & Gamble's popular website, homemadesimple.com.
