ALICIA KEYS TO PERFORM AT "PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS 2013," WEDNESDAY, JAN. 9

Keys to Join Previously Announced Performers Christina Aguilera and Jason Aldean

Two-time People's Choice Award winner and fourteen-time Grammy(R) Award-winning singer, songwriter and producer, Alicia Keys, will perform live at PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS 2013, from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Jan. 9 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

She will be joining previously announced performers Christina Aguilera and Jason Aldean. The People's Choice Awards is the only major awards show where fans determine the nominees and winners across categories of movies, music and television.

"The caliber of performances we have planned for this show is beyond compare," said Executive Producer Mark Burnett, "Alicia is an undeniable vocal powerhouse, and combined with Christina Aguilera and Jason Aldean, we are going to have one epic show. They are three of music's biggest talents. I am simply ecstatic to have them all joining us this year."

Keys' fifth studio album, GIRL ON FIRE (RCA Records), debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200, #1 on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and #1 on the Top Digital Albums chart. In addition to being the best-selling R&B album in the U.S, GIRL ON FIRE reached number one on the iTunes album chart in 19 countries. Since the 2001 release of her monumental debut album, Songs in A Minor, Keys has built an unparalleled repertoire of hits and accomplishments with more than 30 million albums and 25 million singles sold worldwide. Keys became the first female R&B artist to have three consecutive #1 album debuts on the Billboard 200 album chart. She is also an accomplished actress, a New York Times best-selling author, an entrepreneur and a powerful force in the world of philanthropy and in the global fight against HIV and AIDS.

ABOUT PEOPLE'S CHOICE

Now in its 39th year, the People's Choice Awards continues to be the only major awards show voted on entirely by the public for fan favorites in movies, music and television. The People's Choice official website at www.PeoplesChoice.com houses the voting platform where fans determine the categories, nominees and winners for the annual awards show. Every year, potential nominees are determined by national ratings averages, box office grosses, music sales and PeoplesChoice.com data, then vetted through E-Poll(R) MediaSYNC - E-Score Celebrity. Fred Nelson is the President of People's Choice, and the awards show is produced by Procter & Gamble Productions, Inc. [NYSE:PG], which is represented by Liquid Thread, a division of Starcom MediaVest Group, Worldwide, Inc., supervisors of the production.
