Los Angeles, CA - January 10, 2013 - As the world's go-to source for all the glamour and excitement of the red carpet, E! kicks off its extensive coverage of the 2013 Hollywood awards season in a big way when the network broadcasts live from the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday, January 13th. While the world watches, anchor and executive producer Ryan Seacrest, host Giuliana Rancic and E!'s unparalleled "Live from the Red Carpet" team of entertainment and style experts will connect pop culture fans to all the exciting action, glamorous fashion and memorable moments of the 2013 Golden Globes Awards. Highlighted by interviews with the most sought-after stars from this year's diverse range of Golden Globe Award nominees, plus the network's fan-favorite fashion coverage, including the popular GlamCam 360 and, for the first time at the Globes, the much buzzed-about Mani-Cam, this year's red carpet is stacking up to be one of the most memorable ever. Plus, E! will unveil the network's newest Red Carpet secret weapon, the Detail Cam, which allows the most detail-oriented coverage possible of the carpet's fashionistas, capturing jewels, shoes, clutches and dress details never before seen in such clarity. "Sounds of the Carpet" also returns, so that viewers can eavesdrop on those unedited, unfiltered red carpet conversations and organic moments that will be talked about for weeks to come.

Eonline/Apps

Extensive updates to Eonline's "Livestream From the Red Carpet" show section and digital apps will create the perfect "second screen" experience and provide the most far-reaching and comprehensive coverage ever. New for this season, Eonline's updated awards section will cover the big day from top to bottom, with new features, analysis, moment-by-moment updates and more. Featuring its innovative patent-pending fluid screen, the site will showcase new graphics, an easier-to-access design, and new photo and video layouts that will provide visitors to Eonline the most complete awards show experience ever, with all the sights and sounds of the 2013 Golden Globes captured as they happen. Plus, Eonline will feature even more extensive fashion and beauty coverage with additional insight from our new experts from The Trend section.

The site and apps will also have updated livestreaming capabilities to take viewers behind-the-scenes as never before. During the course of the day, when the on-air show goes to commercial, E!'s Kristin Dos Santos and Ashlan Gorse will be featured in the livestream talking about all the action still happening on the red carpet. This second-screen show will also offer viewers live feeds from a half-dozen more cameras on the carpet. And of course, our red hot Heat Gauge returns to report on the stars who are the most heavily trending on Twitter throughout the evening. Following the show, users can log on to check out "Fashion Police" critiques of the most outrageous looks of the night, an analysis of the best dressed celebrities, an exhaustive array of arrival photos and a complete run-down of the hottest trends seen on the carpet. As always in the days leading up to the Golden Globes, Eonline and the Red Carpet apps will feature news stories, predictions, fashion previews and plenty of fun extras about this highly anticipated award show.
