LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Syfy has canceled its drama series "Alphas" after two seasons.
Co-stars Ryan Cartwright, Azita Ghanizada and Warren Christie all posted the news to Twitter this afternoon:

"Alphas" averaged 1.304 million viewers this past season, a drop of nearly 30% from its freshman run (1.845 million).
Zak Penn and Michael Karnow were the co-creators of the series, from Universal Cable Productions and BermanBraun.
