Super-Sized Oscar Coverage Continues Next Day With Expanded 90-Minute E! News Followed By Special 90-Minute "Fashion Police: The 2013 Academy Awards" With Guests Sarah Silverman and Nina Garcia

Los Angeles, CA - February 22, 2013 - On Sunday, February 24th at 10:30amPT/1:30pm ET, E! kicks off its unparalleled coverage for this year's Oscars as Hollywood tops off the 2013 awards season with one of the most hotly-contested Oscars races in recent memory. With pundits predicting upsets in major categories, all eyes will be on Hollywood, and E! will have an entire army of cameras to capture each moment of the star-studded action from the very first limo arrival to the last of the night's big after-parties. The stars, the gowns, the shoes and even the manicures are getting that up-close-and-personal E! treatment, and in addition to the 20+ cameras that will be focused on those attending this year's big show, the network is adding another new camera which will capture each star for one last glance as they ascend the grand staircase at Hollywood & Highland towards the Dolby Theater entrance. E!'s seasoned on-camera team, led by anchor and executive producer Ryan Seacrest and host Giuliana Rancic, will ensure viewers miss none of the action, glamour and excitement of the day. Complete on-air coverage will be complemented by Eonline's livestream show hosted by Terrence Jenkins and Catt Sadler. And with updated "Live from the Red Carpet" and "Fashion Police" apps, E! viewers will be armed for Monday conversations with TV's most expansive coverage of everything Oscar.

The E! super-sized Oscar celebration continues the next day, with Ryan and Giuliana in-studio for a 90-minute edition of E! News at 7:00pm ET/PT that will include a thorough wrap-up of the entire Oscar celebration, including the most memorable red carpet moments, the awards themselves and inside lavish parties where the stars celebrate into the wee hours. Then, following at 8:30pm ET/PT, Joan Rivers and her panel of fashionistas will welcome special guests Sarah Silverman and Nina Garcia for a first in "Fashion Police" history -- an extra-large and extra-glamorous 90-minute edition of the show that is bound to have all of Hollywood talking the next day.

Red Carpet On-Air

Beginning at 1:30pm ET/10:30am PT "Countdown to the Red Carpet: the 2013 Academy Awards" kicks off E!'s Oscar coverage with our entire on-air team reporting from sites throughout Hollywood to make this the most extensive and entertaining "Countdown" ever undertaken. Joined by a wide range of special guests and experts, our team will be live from the famed Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, with special reports coming in from the red carpet, E!'s Sky Box, and a variety of other action-filled locations. This is the only show viewers can tune in to see both "the Hangover's" Crystal the monkey and a live tiger who stops by to pay homage to his breed's starring role in "Life of Pi"; Jennifer Lawrence's personal "Hunger Games" archery trainer with some tips on hitting the bulls-eye; Victoria Secret's Alessandra Ambrosio; and "Shake It Up's" Bella Thorne and friends, who hit one of Tinseltown's hottest nail salons for manicures inspired by some of the Red Carpet's most iconic gowns. Add to that a heavy dose of pre-Oscar handicapping and fashion coverage of everything from jewels to shoes, and there is no better place to be this Sunday. Giuliana Rancic leads the on-air talent team for "Countdown" that includes Kelly Osbourne, Terrence Jenkins, Ross Mathews, George Kotsiopoulos, Jason Kennedy, Catt Sadler, Alicia Quarles, Marie Claire's Zanna Roberts Rassi and Fandango's Dave Karger.

Then Ryan Seacrest will be live on the Red Carpet to catch up with Hollywood's biggest and brightest stars as they make their way into the Dolby Theater, while Giuliana holds court at The Roosevelt Hotel with Kelly Osbourne, playing host to a number of special guests including Style Network star and fashion icon Kimora Lee Simmons, Fandango's Oscar handicapper Karger, a bevy of celebrity stylists and more. And Ross will provide ongoing reports, with input from Kelly, from his perch in E!'s Sky Box, located high above all the red carpet action.

Once the ceremony concludes, "E!'s After Party: The 2013 Academy Awards(R)" will keep fans current on all the celebrating, with live reports from the hottest parties of the night. Jason Kennedy leads the on-air team at the big Hollywood Roosevelt poolside party, while Ashlan Gorse will be live at the world-renowned Vanity Fair fete and Catt Sadler is ringside at the Governor's Ball to talk with the night's big winners.

Red Carpet Digital

E!'s red carpet experience however, doesn't stop with the show. Eonline (www.eonline.com) will expand on TV coverage with the most extensive digital red carpet experience ever, including real-time photo galleries, fashion and beauty expert commentary, breaking news alerts, backstage peeks, "Fashion Police" reviews, and all the highs and "whoas" from the big night.

Fans can also get even more Oscar coverage with Eonline's "Livestream From the Red Carpet", our unique Web show with exclusive feeds from E!'s cameras along the red carpet, live segments hosted by Catt Sadler and Terrence Jenkins, real-time Twitter trends, Facebook sentiment polling results and much more.

Eonline will extend fan participation and engagement across all social platforms with exclusive live tweets and Instagrams from the carpet, as well as our popular and proprietary Heat Gauge, which reveals who/what is trending on Twitter in real time. Fashionistas can also play the Red Carpet Pose-Off game: a competition featuring the best in high-fashion dresses seen on the red carpet.

For users who are on-the-go or are looking for a mobile, second-screen experience, our Eonline, E! Latino, "Live From the Red Carpet" and "Fashion Police" apps will once again set the gold standard for mobile red carpet coverage. The "Live from the Red Carpet" app will feature the "Even More From the Red Carpet" livestream, where fans get the 360° immersive experience that cannot be found anywhere else.

E!'s Red Carpet coverage is produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions. Ryan Seacrest, Jay James, Gary Snegaroff and Eddie Delbridge serve as Executive Producers.
