"AVATAR'S" JON LANDAU APPEARS IN THIS WEEK'S ALL NEW EPISODE OF SYFY'S "FACE OFF," TUESDAY, MARCH 5 AT 9 PM ET/PT
New York, NY - March 4, 2013 - Academy Award winning producer Jon Landau (Titanic, Avatar) makes a guest judge appearance in tomorrow night's all-new episode of Syfy's acclaimed reality competition series, Face Off, Tuesday, March 5 at 9 PM ET/PT.
In the episode, "It's Better in the Dark," the remaining seven makeup artists head to the California coastline and learn that they'll be creating their own undiscovered bioluminescent creatures. This means they'll face the incredibly difficult task of having two distinct paint jobs - one regular layer and another seen only under a black light. After sketching in the inspirational seaside environment, the artists head back to the lab where they discover a beautiful plant paradise with the surprise message that this week's challenge will be a double elimination. With the stakes higher than ever, some of the artists struggle with their creations while an illness threatens one artist's ability to finish. Only one will rise to the top and two will fall when they present their work in front of surprise guest judge, Avatar's Jon Landau.
