NickMom to Also Add Second Season of "Parental Discretion with Stefanie Wilder-Taylor"

NEW YORK - May 6, 2013 - NickMom has ordered second seasons of the stand-up comedy series NickMom Night Out (23 episodes) and talk show Parental Discretion with Stefanie Wilder-Taylor (20 episodes), it was announced today by Bronwen O'Keefe, Senior Vice President, NickMom. Sherri Shepherd (The View) will host the new season of NickMom Night Out, taped in front of a live studio audience at the Times Square Studios in New York City. Parental Discretion with Stefanie Wilder-Taylor, hosted by author/comedienne Wilder-Taylor, is set to commence production this summer in Los Angeles.

Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show co-host from ABC's The View, Sherri Shepherd is an accomplished stand-up comic, actress and author. She continues to be a memorable player in prime-time and frequently guest-starred on the Emmy Award-winning series 30 Rock as Tracy Morgan's wife, Angie Jordan. Sherri executive produced and starred in her own sitcom, SHERRI, on Lifetime and has made appearances in Cedric, Less Than Perfect, Everybody Loves Raymond, Joan of Arcadia, Suddenly Susan and The Jamie Foxx Show. She most recently co-starred in the Lifetime movie Abducted: The Carlina White Story. Sherri appeared on the silver screen in Steve Harvey's Think Like a Man, and prior to that in One for the Money. Additionally, she has appeared in such feature films as the award-winning Precious, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, Guess Who, Who's Your Caddy?, Beauty Shop and Cellular. Also she has had a successful run in the critically acclaimed Broadway hit, "Love, Loss and What I Wore." She returns to her roots in a one hour stand-up comedy special premiering June 21 on EPIX, "Sherri Shepherd: It's My Time to Talk." The multi-faceted Shepherd is the author of PLAN D: How to Lose Weight and Beat Diabetes Even If You Don't Have It (Harper Collins), which was published on April 30. She is also the author of a humorous autobiography, Permission Slips: Every Woman's Guide to Giving Yourself a Break (Grand Central Publishing).

Stefanie Wilder-Taylor is the host and co-executive producer of Parental Discretion with Stefanie Wilder-Taylor. She is also the author of Sippy Cups Are Not for Chardonnay, Naptime Is the New Happy Hour, It's Not Me, It's You and I'm Kind of a Big Deal. She has also written and produced more than 30 television sketch, clip and variety shows, including Whose Line Is It Anyway? and Blind Date. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and three young daughters where she spends her time writing for numerous parenting web columns, co-hosting the parenting podcast For Crying Out Loud and eating popsicles.

NickMom Night Out is a stand-up comedy series that takes moms out for a night at the comedy club from the comfort of their couches at home. Previous hosts included Tisha Campbell-Martin (LA edition), Judy Gold (NY edition), Caroline Rhea (Orlando, Fla., edition), and Bonnie McFarlane (Chicago edition). The series spotlights the chaos and hilarity that comes with being a parent. NickMom Night Out is executive produced by Bob Mittenthal (Double Dare).

Parental Discretion with Stefanie Wilder-Taylor is a show that blends studio elements, interviews, video commentary, monologues and panel discussions with hidden camera, mom on the street and sketch comedy. Each episode explores a different element of parenting, all through the irreverent and funny eyes of author and comedienne Stefanie Wilder-Taylor (Naptime is the New Happy Hour, Sippy Cups Are Not for Chardonnay). The series is executive produced by Hugh Fink (The Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Saturday Night Live, The Showbiz Show), Jane Lipsitz and Dan Cutforth from Magical Elves (Top Chef, Fashion Star) and Co-Executive Produced by Stefanie Wilder-Taylor and Jim Jones (Mad TV).
