PAWN STARS

All New Season, All New Night

Premiering Thursday, May 30 at 9pm ET on HISTORY

New York, May 14, 2013 - PAWN STARS is back! With an all new season, on an all new night. HISTORY's blockbuster series is moving to Thursday nights at 9pm ET, beginning May 30.

Each episode of PAWN STARS features an array of quirky characters attempting to sell, purchase or pawn items. Viewers will see the PAWN STARS haggle over a slew of interesting historic items this season. From a guitar believed to be signed by Paul McCartney with items signed by all four of The Beatles to a reproduction of the Back to the Future DeLorean car to an Aaron Burr signed document to a NASA space toilet seat. Rick Harrison will even meet rock legend Roger Daltrey from The Who at Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp in Las Vegas in the upcoming season.

Included in the new night, is a brand new original theme song performed by classic rock legends, Lynyrd Skynyrd. The band recorded a custom song for the show titled "Winning Isn't Everything." A shortened version of the song will accompany the PAWN STARS show opening beginning on May 30. And, the full song can be purchased on iTunes as of mid-May.

For thousands of years, people all over the world have found themselves with one problem in common: the need for fast cash. Long before banks, ATMs, and check-cashing services, pawnbrokers have provided monetary loans in exchange for personal items of value, and are still helping everyday people make ends meet today.

The Harrisons' successful family-run pawn shop, Gold & Silver, runs on knowledge, instinct, nerves of steel and family chemistry. The guys are straight-talking, shrewd, and sometimes, even a tad crude. Richard ("Old Man") has a knack for sizing up the precise value of anything. Rick, a born hustler, seems to have a radar for stolen or fake items and is a wealth of information when it comes to historical items. Corey, a trained appraiser, is the back-office brains and brawn. While Chumlee, Corey's childhood sidekick, has a heart of gold but is often the butt of the guy's jokes.

Everything and everyone has a story and it's the Harrison family's job to decipher fact from fiction, because in this business the customer isn't always right.

Pawn Stars is produced for HISTORY by Leftfield Pictures. Russ McCarroll is Executive Producer for HISTORY. Executive Producers for Leftfield Pictures are Brent Montgomery, David George and Matthew Braley. Joel Patterson is Co-Executive Producer and Peter Van Pelt is Supervising Producer.
