COMEDY CENTRAL(R) RENEWS "INSIDE AMY SCHUMER"

Executive Produced by Schumer, Daniel Powell and Jessi Klein with a Second Season Set to Premiere Ten Episodes in 2014

NEW YORK, May 28, 2013 - Viewers have been inside the mind of comedian Amy Schumer and they love what they see and so does COMEDY CENTRAL, which has renewed the new hit series "Inside Amy Schumer" for a second season, it was announced today by Kent Alterman, President, Content Development and Original Programming, COMEDY CENTRAL. The second season of "Inside Amy Schumer" will consist of ten episodes and is scheduled to premiere in 2014.

The "Schumer" pick-up continues a successful streak of 2013 launches for the #1 brand in comedy joining last month's renewals of "Nathan for You" and "The Jeselnik Offensive" and the previously announced renewal of "Kroll Show."

"Amy Schumer," said Alterman. "She's hilarious. I also love her comedy."

"I am so proud of our show," added Schumer. "And ecstatic to get to work with all these assholes again."

COMEDY CENTRAL's highest-rated series premiere for the year, "Inside Amy Schumer," launched on April 30 and is currently in the middle of its first season with new episodes premiering on Tuesdays at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. The series, which was created by Schumer and Daniel Powell, who executive produce along with head writer Jessi Klein, consistently finishes as the top-rated entertainment show in all of television in its time slot among COMEDY CENTRAL's core young male demographics (Men 18-34 and Men 18-24) and is the #1 entertainment show on cable in its time slot among Adults 18-49.

"Inside Amy Schumer" provides an intimate look into the mind of comedian Amy Schumer, who, through a series of scripted vignettes, stand-up comedy, and man- on-the-street interviews, explores topics revolving around sex, relationships, and the general clusterf*ck that is life. Joining Schumer for the first season of her breakout series are a roster of well-known actors and comedians including Jon Glaser, Michael Showalter, Amber Tamblyn, Michael Ian Black, Rob Schneider, Abby Elliott, Tig Notaro, Tom Papa, Lisa Lampanelli, Dave Attell, Will Janowitz, Nikki Glaser, Sara Schaefer and Missi Pyle.

Behind-the-scenes, "Inside Amy Schumer" features an all-star team culled from the best of today's comedy scene including a writers' room led by Klein (head writer) and staffed by Tig Notaro, Kyle Dunnigan, Kurt Metzger, and Gabe Liedman. The series is produced by Levity Entertainment's Itay Reiss and Derek Van Pelt and directed by Neal Brennan ("Chappelle's Show"), Steven Tsuchida ("The Sarah Silverman Program") and John Lee ("Delocated") and features original music composed by Questlove. Production services are provided by Jax Media, a New York based film and television production company, helmed by veteran producer Tony Hernandez. Brooke Posch is the Executive in Charge of Production for COMEDY CENTRAL.

Available on-air, online and on-the-go, COMEDY CENTRAL (www.cc.com) is the #1 brand in comedy and is owned by, and is a registered trademark of, Comedy Partners, a wholly-owned unit of Viacom Inc. (NASDAQ: VIA and VIAB).
