OCCULT (A&E/ABC Studios; W: James Wong; D: TBA) - Agnes Bruckner (Lifetime's "Anna Nicole") has joined the cast of the Michael Bay-produced drama pilot, about a newly formed occult crimes task force at the FBI. She'll play Lucy, "an attractive, edgy young soul caught up in the occult. Presumed dead after being shot in the heart, she rises from the autopsy table, possessed and hell-bent on joining her fellow cultists." Josh Lucas and Lynn Collins star as the FBI agents spearheading the unit. (Deadline.com)

UNTITLED ANDREW GURLAND PROJECT (FX/FX Productions; W/D: Andrew Gurland) - Judy Greer ("Mad Love") has booked the female lead opposite Nat Faxon in the comedy pilot, about "the lengths to which two best friends are willing to go to salvage their marriage." She'll play Lina Bowman, who - overwhelmed by her three young daughters and living in a new city with no friends - gives her always-horny husband Russ (Faxon) a free pass to take care of his needs elsewhere. Paul Young and Peter Principato also serve as executive producers with Salamo Levin producing. Production is set to begin this summer in Los Angeles. (Deadline.com)

WTF AMERICA (FOX, New!) - Oscar-nominee Dan Mazer (Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan) has sold a hybrid scripted/unscripted project to the network. It's understood the comedy presentation will shoot in June with Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo of their 20th Century Fox Television-based Imagine Television also serving as executive producers. No other specifics were given. (Deadline.com)

AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Alan Tudyk and Rex Lee won't return as series regulars on "Suburgatory" due to a reduction in its license fee as part of its third season renewal (Deadline.com); Doris Egan has signed a two-year overall deal with CBS Television Studios where she'll join The CW's "Reign" as a co-executive producer (Deadline.com); "Chicago Fire" and "Chicago PD" co-creator Matt Olmstead has inked a two-year, seven-figure overall deal with producer Universal Television where he'll continue on both series (Deadline.com); and "Suits" executive producer Jon Cowan has closed a two-year overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television, including a blind script deal with FOX (Deadline.com).
