Rachel Brill Promoted to Vice President, Unscripted Programming for TNT

Rachel Brill has been promoted to vice president of unscripted programming for TNT Originals. Brill, who most recently served as director of unscripted development for TNT, is responsible for supervising development of unscripted series, collaborating with directors and producers on developing new ideas, providing creative oversight of unscripted pilots from pre-production through production and post-production; and supervising the continued development of series once they've been greenlit. Brill is based in Los Angeles and reports to David Eilenberg, senior vice president of unscripted development for TNT and TBS.

"Rachel brought a wealth of reality expertise to TNT's unscripted development team when she joined the network in 2011," said Eilenberg. "Since then, she has been active in fostering the creative development of several high-profile shows, including this summer's new TNT series The Hero, 72 Hours and Cold Justice. We're very fortunate to have her in this important leadership role."

Prior to joining TNT, Brill served as vice president of development and supervising producer at ZOO Productions. While at ZOO, Brill oversaw development and production of pitches, presentations and pilots, including the Emmy(R)-nominated Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?; HUB's Family Game Night; truTV's Southern Fried Stings and Over the Limit; TV Land's How'd You Get So Rich?, with Joan Rivers; and MTV's Busted.

In addition to development, Brill supervised specials and premiere season launches for such shows as NBC's All-Star Celebrity Treasure Hunt; Disney's first unscripted series, PrankStars; WEtv's Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?, starring Joan Rivers; Lifetime's Bunco World Championship; and truTV's Speeders and spin-off series Speeders Fight Back.

Earlier in her career, Brill was on the production team of Oxygen's Girls Behaving Badly, with Chelsea Handler, and spin-off Guys Behaving Badly, with Ken Jeong.

Brill graduated from University of Miami with a double major in broadcasting and political science and currently resides in Los Angeles.
