THE THIRD COAST (HBO, New!) - Annette Bening is set to star in a potential single-camera comedy for the pay channel about a larger-than-life casting director (Bening) in New Mexico. Writer Paul Rudnick and director Jay Roach are behind the project, which is the result of the latter's two-year overall deal with HBO. Rudnick, Roach and John Lyons are the executive producers. UNTITLED GAUMONT INTERNATIONAL TELEVISION PROJECT (FOX, New!) - Gaumont International Television has inked a development deal with the network for two potential series, one of which is guaranteed a 13-episode, straight-to-series order. The company's chief Katie O'Connell will presumably serve as an executive producer on the project. (Deadline.com)
