New York, NY - September 5, 2013 - mtvU, MTV's 24-hour college network, today announced that Andy Samberg, former "Saturday Night Live" cast member and star of the upcoming FOX comedy series "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," will officially welcome college students to campus for the fall 2013 semester with "mtvU's 2013 Convocation Address." Samberg's speech will premiere to nearly 9 million college students on 750 campuses across the country on Tuesday, September 10 on mtvU and mtvU.com.

Samberg headlines mtvU's 2013 fall programming slate, which also includes returning network favorites "ASK," "Campus Dispatch," "College Radio Countdown," "Occupational Therapy," "Pop Quiz," and "Quinnterviews." The season premiere of "ASK" on September 23 will feature Joseph Gordon-Levitt, star, writer and director of Relativity Media's feature film "Don Jon," which opens in theaters on September 27, while "Quinnterviews" will debut on September 10 with Patton Oswalt, Amy Sedaris and the cast of "The Heart, She Holler."

The full slate includes:

· "mtvU's 2013 Convocation Address" (premieres Tuesday, September 10): Andy Samberg welcomes college students back to school for the fall 2013 semester with a speech on mtvU, MTV's 24-hour college network. An Emmy Award-winning writer, Andy Samberg has emerged as a captivating and hilarious leading man on screens both big and small. Samberg stars in cop comedy "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," premiering this September. He recently starred on the hit British sitcom "Cuckoo," alongside British stand-up comic Greg Davies, and completed his seventh and final season as a cast member on "Saturday Night Live." Samberg is part of The Lonely Island comedy troupe with partners Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone. Their third album, "The Wack Album," debuted in June 2013.

· "Quinnterviews" (premieres Tuesday, September 10): Quinn Marcus is an uninhibited, hilarious Emerson College-grad whose comedic shorts led her to become the host of the university's popular late night talk show. Now we've given her a camera and stepped back to watch. The newest season of "Quinnterviews" will premiere on Tuesday, September 10, as Quinn visits Patton Oswalt, Amy Sedaris and the rest of the cast of Adult Swim's "The Heart, She Holler."

· "ASK" (premieres Monday, September 23): The new season of "ASK," in which a college student gets to interview their favorite celebrity on-camera, will debut with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, star, writer and director of Relativity Media's feature film "Don Jon," which opens in theaters on September 27. The series has previously profiled celebrities including Ben Affleck, Justin Timberlake and Steve Carell.

· "Campus Dispatch" (airs weekly): mtvU's "Campus Dispatch" will once again spotlight student journalists from across the country reporting on buzzing current events from a student perspective. Past episodes of "Campus Dispatch" have featured campus correspondents from Florida State University, the University of Southern California and Howard University.

· "Occupational Therapy" (airs Mondays): College students' biggest fear during college is getting a job after college. mtvU's "Occupational Therapy" features tips from top executives and hiring professionals fielding questions from students and serving facts on how to land jobs; their secrets that got them where they are; and what they look for in entry level applicants. The series has featured segments with executives from Tumblr, Foursquare, Google, Gilt Groupe and Whole Foods, among others.

· "Pop Quiz" (airs Mondays): "Pop Quiz" features actors, artists and musicians sharing stories about their favorite teachers, worst roommates, dream lecturers and more. Past episodes have featured Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Vanessa Hudgens, Fall Out Boy, 30 Seconds to Mars, Ne-Yo, Mac Miller and Zedd.

· "College Radio Countdown" (airs Tuesdays): "College Radio Countdown" gives college radio stations across the country the opportunity to call out their favorite videos on mtvU. From 90's rap to brand new indies, each week a different station plays the 10 songs that best represent their vibe.
