Also appearing on the launch of the Season 12 of DR. PHIL are 'Bachelor' Jake Pavelka and Allemand's publicist and friend, Penelope Jean Hayes.
Allemand was found unconscious in her apartment about a month ago by her boyfriend NBA player Ryan Anderson. She was rushed to a New Orleans hospital and immediately put on life support. Allemand was taken off support and died on August 14 - two days after being admitted. Micheletti describes to Dr. Phil the torment and anguish she felt during her daughter's final days. Micheletti goes into detail about the agonizing final phone conversation she had with her daughter, her attempt to comfort Allemand and keep her calm until she could get to her side. Micheletti also reveals to Dr. Phil what she feels really led her daughter to take her own life.
"I'm really mad at her that she did this for no reason," said Micheletti. "In 12 hours it would have been fine. I'm really angry."
"Celebrate all of the days of her life," Dr. Phil told Micheletti during the taping. "And don't focus on just that one moment of her death."
