WELCOME TO THE CHURCH OF THE EPIC FAIL THE WORLD PREMIERE OF "CHRISTOPHER TITUS: THE VOICE IN MY HEAD" DEBUTS ON COMEDY CENTRAL(R) ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5 AT 10:00 P.M. ET/PT

NEW YORK, September 16, 2013 - No holds barred funnyman Christopher Titus returns to COMEDY CENTRAL for his fifth 90-minute stand-up special in the world premiere of "Christopher Titus: The Voice in My Head," debuting on Saturday, October 5, at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

In front of a live audience at the Tower Theatre in Fresno, CA, Titus recounts some of his greatest failures, including his job as Darth Vader at a children's birthday party, his first waterskiing lesson at age 5, and the reason babies are no longer allowed at Christopher Titus shows.

Leading up to the on-air premiere, COMEDY CENTRAL Stand-Up will feature preview clips from the special. Fans can follow Titus on Twitter at @TitusNation, and tweet about the special using the hashtag #voiceinmyhead.

Employing what he's labeled "hard funny," Titus has released five 90-minute albums in as many years, and has taped four 90-minute stand-up specials for COMEDY CENTRAL. After years of experimentation with dark and personal storytelling, he debuted his one-man show "Norman Rockwell is Bleeding" at the Hudson Theater in Los Angeles. It was from this performance that the dark comedy "Titus" was born on Fox. The show earned Titus a Writer's Guild nomination as well as an Emmy(R) nomination, and Newsday called him "TV's most original voice since Seinfeld."

Titus shone in 2007 as the lovable character Brod in ABC's "Big Shots." In 2013, Titus formed his own production company, Combustion World Industries, which produced "Voice In My Head." His first film production will be "Special Unit," about four disabled detectives. Titus describes it as "The Shield with handicapped people" and is planning for film production in 2014.

Titus is currently performing his newest one-man show, "The Angry Pursuit of Happiness," to sold-out venues across the country.

"Christopher Titus: The Voice in My Head" is executive produced by Titus and Rachel Bradley.
