New Original Scripted Comedy, Instant Mom, Starring Tia Mowry-Hardrict, Joins NickMom Line-Up on Sunday, Sept. 29, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT)

NEW YORK - Sept. 25, 2013 - Buckle up for more belly laughs as NickMom premieres the second season of the stand-up comedy series, NickMom Night Out, on Monday, Oct. 14, at 10 p.m. (all times ET/PT). Hosted by Sherri Shepherd (The View) and taped in front of a live studio audience in New York City, the series features stand-up comedians putting a spotlight on the chaos and hilarity that comes with being a parent. Previous NickMom Night Out hosts include Tisha Campbell-Martin (LA), Judy Gold (NY), Caroline Rhea (Orlando, Fla.), and Bonnie McFarlane (Chicago). NickMom Night Out is executive produced by Bob Mittenthal (Double Dare), co-executive produced by Brian Baldinger and Jim Burns (co-creator MTV Unplugged) serves as consulting producer. NickMom Night Out season two launches with a premiere week (Mon, Oct. 14 - Saturday, Oct. 19, at 10 p.m.), followed by weekly premieres every Saturday Oct. 26 - Nov. 30, at 10 p.m.

"NickMom Night Out allows moms to have a front row seat at a comedy club from the comfort of their own couch," said Bronwen O'Keefe, SVP, NickMom. "Viewers will have a great time laughing along with our comedians and fabulous host Sherri Shepherd as they share their hilarious and sometimes absurd stories of parenthood."

Instant Mom, the new original live-action family sitcom starring and produced by Tia Mowry-Hardrict (Tia & Tamera), will join the NickMom lineup on Sunday, Sept. 29, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT). The multi-camera, scripted half-hour series features Mowry-Hardrict as Stephanie, a party girl who trades in Cosmos for carpools when she marries Charlie (Michael Boatman, Spin City), who already has three kids. Sheryl Lee Ralph (Moesha) stars as Stephanie's mother Maggie, and rounding out the cast are Charlie's three kids played by Sydney Park (CSI: NY), Tylen Williams and Damarr Calhoun. Instant Mom also airs Sundays at 8:30 p.m. on Nick at Nite. Additionally, new seasons of talk/variety show Parental Discretion with Stefanie Wilder-Taylor and docu-comedy Take Me To Your Mother starring Andrea Rosen will roll out in 2014.

Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show co-host from ABC's The View, Sherri Shepherd is an accomplished stand-up comic, actress and author. She continues to be a memorable player in prime-time and frequently guest-starred on the Emmy Award-winning series 30 Rock as Tracy Morgan's wife, Angie Jordan. She currently has a recurring role on How I Met Your Mother and just completed Chris Rock's film, Finally Famous. Sherri executive produced and starred in her own sitcom SHERRI on Lifetime and has made appearances in Cedric, Less Than Perfect, Everybody Loves Raymond, Joan of Arcadia, Suddenly Susan and The Jamie Foxx Show. She most recently co-starred in the Lifetime movie Abducted: The Carlina White Story. Sherri appeared on the silver screen in Steve Harvey's Think Like a Man, and prior to that in One for the Money. Additionally, she has appeared in such feature films as the award-winning Precious, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, Guess Who, Who's Your Caddy?, Beauty Shop and Cellular. Also, she has had a successful run in the critically acclaimed Broadway hit, "Love, Loss and What I Wore." She recently returned to her roots for a one hour stand-up comedy special on EPIX, "Sherri Shepherd: It's My Time to Talk." The multi-faceted Shepherd is the author of the New York Times Bestseller PLAN D: How to Lose Weight and Beat Diabetes Even If You Don't Have It (Harper Collins). She is also the author of a humorous autobiography, Permission Slips: Every Woman's Guide to Giving Yourself a Break (Grand Central Publishing).
