BLAKE SHELTON, ROBIN WILLIAMS, WILLIAM SHATNER AND WHOOPI GOLDBERG TO GUEST STAR IN "KELLY CLARKSON'S CAUTIONARY CHRISTMAS MUSIC TALE"

Musical Superstars, Oscar Winners Added to Holiday Special That Is Set to Air Dec. 11 at 10 p.m. (ET/PT)

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - Nov. 20, 2013 - Superstars Blake Shelton, Reba and Trisha Yearwood will appear as guest stars in the upcoming holiday special "Kelly Clarkson's Cautionary Christmas Music Tale." Others set to make an appearance include Jay Leno, Matt Lauer, Robin Williams, Whoopi Goldberg, William Shatner, Danica Patrick, Heidi Klum, Ken Jeong ("Community") and Jai Rodriguez ("Queer Eye for the Straight Guy").

The special will air Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 10 p.m. (ET/PT).

Clarkson and guests will celebrate the festive season with a comedic musical take on a traditional Christmas morality tale. Song selection will come directly off her just-released Christmas album, "Wrapped in Red," featuring classics such as "Silent Night" and "White Christmas" as well as the title track.

Blake Shelton is currently a coach on NBC's Emmy Award-winning musical-competition series "The Voice." Blake recently was awarded CMA Awards' Album of the Year honor for his platinum-selling album "Based on a True Story...," and was named Male Vocalist of the Year for the fourth consecutive year.

Just off the heels of his multi-week No. 1 smash hit, "Boys 'Round Here," the follow-up single "Mine Would Be You" raced to the top of the charts to mark his 15th No. 1 (10th consecutive) single. "Mine Would Be You" has topped the charts for the last three weeks, making it one of the longest-charting country singles of 2013. Blake has earned a host of other awards and nominations, including multiple Grammy nominations, six gold and platinum albums, and is the three-time host of the ACM Awards.

Reba has sold over 56 million albums worldwide and is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame. She has won 15 American Music Awards, 13 ACM Awards, nine People's Choice Awards, seven CMA Awards, two Grammys; an ACM Career Achievement Honor; and is one of only four entertainers in history to receive the National Artistic Achievement Award from the U.S. Congress. Her reign of #1 hits spans four decades and Billboard, Country Aircheck and Mediabase recognized her as the biggest female hitmaker in country music history.

She earned her 64th top-10 hit and her 35th No. 1 with "Turn on the Radio," from her most recent album, "All the Women I Am." She is also an acclaimed actress, having starred in her own TV series, has 11 film credits and made her Broadway debut in the revival of "Annie Get Your Gun."

Yearwood is a three-time Grammy Award-winning country music star and Grand Ole Opry member who has sold more than 12 million albums since her 1991 debut. As a performer, she has earned accolades (three CMA Awards, two ACM Awards, an AMA Award and a Pollstar Industry Award for touring) and has topped the charts with signature hits such as "How Do I Live," "She's in Love With the Boy" and "Walkaway Joe." Yearwood is also the author of two New York Times best-selling cookbooks and the host of her own Emmy Award-winning Food Network show, "Trisha's Southern Kitchen," which is now in its fourth season.

Grammy Award winner Kelly Clarkson has released 6 studio albums, 1 Greatest Hits album, sold over 20 million albums worldwide, and has had 10 singles in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart. Clarkson is the recipient of three Grammys, four American Music Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards, two Academy of Country Music Awards, a CMA Award and 12 Billboard Music Awards. Her last studio effort, "Stronger," was certified platinum, won the Grammy for best pop vocal album and produced the smash singles, "Mr. Know It All" and "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)," which marks Clarkson's ninth and 10th top-10 hit.

"Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" was No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 Chart for two consecutive weeks marking her third No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart. Clarkson spent the summer touring with Maroon 5 and recording "Wrapped in Red," which features five original tracks as well as some Christmas favorites. The album debuted at No. 3 marking the biggest holiday album debut for a female since 2010.

"Kelly Clarkson's Cautionary Christmas Music Tale" will be produced by Done and Dusted Productions with Ian Stewart serving as executive producer.
