"GMA'S" JOSH ELLIOT AND ESPN'S HANNAH STORM TO HOST ABC'S LIVE COVERAGE OF THE 125th TOURNAMENT OF ROSES PARADE ON NEW YEARS DAY
The 125th Tournament of Roses Parade will air live from Pasadena, California on WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 1 (11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. "Good Morning America" news anchor Josh Elliot and ESPN's Hannah Storm will co-host the network's live coverage. This year's parade will feature 45 floral floats in the theme of "Dreams Come True." The Grand Marshal will be famous sports broadcaster and the voice of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Vin Scully.
Josh Elliott is the news anchor for ABC's Good Morning America. He reports for all ABC News broadcasts and digital platforms. Since joining ABC News in March 2011, he has contributed to the network's coverage of Hurricane Sandy, the Joplin tornado, the Sandy Hook School shooting, the Boston Marathon bombing, the 2013 papal conclave, and the 2012 presidential election of President Obama as well as the second inauguration of President Barack Obama. This is the seventh year in a row that Elliot will be hosting ABC's presentation of the "Tournament of Roses Parade."
Hannah Storm is an award-winning journalist, producer and director, a pioneer in the field of sports broadcasting for women, an advocate for children's issues, and a published author. She joined ESPN in 2008 as co-host of the live weekday edition of SportsCenter. In addition, Storm has co-hosted many of the networks' marquee events including: Wimbledon, the U.S. Open, The NBA Finals, Veteran's Day, ESPY Awards and the Super Bowl. During the NFL season, she hosts the Sunday morning SportsCenter, leading into Sunday NFL Countdown. Storm annually hosts ABC's presentation of the "Tournament of Roses Parade."
