ALL'S FAIR IN THE GAME OF LOVE
BET NETWORKS' RETURNING HIT ORIGINAL SERIES' "THE GAME" AND "LET'S STAY TOGETHER" ARE BACK AND READY TO EXCITE FANS ON TUESDAY, MARCH 4
NEW YORK - February 13, 2014 - Fans will not have to wait much longer to learn the fate of their favorite, lovable characters on BET's top-rated scripted comedies THE GAME and LET'S STAY TOGETHER. Both series returns for a new season with 10 episodes each beginning Tuesday, March 4 at 10 p.m.* THE GAME Season 7 premieres with a special hour-long episode from 10:00-11:00 p.m. followed by the Season 4 premiere of LET'S STAY TOGETHER at 11 p.m. After premiere week, LET'S STAY TOGETHER will resume its regularly scheduled time of Tuesdays at 10:30 p.m. starting March 11.
Season 7 of THE GAME kicks off with the retirement of Jason's (Coby Bell) Sabers jersey and a crisis that threatens to jeopardize the legacy of the future Hall of Famer. This season, fans will watch as Jason continues to maneuver the pressures of his marriage to Chardonnay (Brandy Norwood), while figuring out how to deal with the return of his ex-wife, Kelly (Brittany Daniel). Tasha faces a personal life changing moment that leaves her reeling, while Malik struggles to overcome a potential career ending injury. And the newbies, Keira (Lauren London) and Blue (Jay Ellis), continue to make rookie mistakes on and off the field. Everything comes to a head for Sabers devotees as the end of the season builds to an unforgettable conclusion.
Additionally, cable television's favorite couples are back in the fourth season of LET'S STAY TOGETHER! Kicking off yet another exciting adventure in love and marriage, LET'S STAY TOGETHER redefines what modern black love looks like and what it truly takes to stay together. In the season premiere, Jamal (RonReaco Lee) is following his political dreams and running for city council however his opponent Blanche Taylor (Ericka Alexander) begins a smear campaign against him, but Tasha (Joyful Drake) and Charles (Bert Belasco) help him fight back. And while Tasha's (Joyful Drake) baby boutique is booming, she finds it's not as easy as she imagined when she unwittingly hires a manufacturer with a questionable work ethic to sew her designs. Meanwhile, Crystal (Kyla Pratt) is still going through with her "fake" wedding to Darkanian (Tony Bravado) as she continues to keep his secret. And to solidify their "love" Crystal decides to get a tattoo, while Kita (Erica Hubbard) and Stacy (Nadine Ellis) consider getting inked as well to show off their wild sides. Even when things don't always go their way, the gang still finds that love is all they need to stay together. Additionally, the new season features guest appearances by Erika Alexander, Jason Weaver, Big Boi, Daphne Maxwell Reid, Kym Whitley and Christian Keyes.
THE GAME is a half hour comedy that takes a behind-the-scenes look at the "dysfunctional" football family of the San Diego Sabers, as they navigate fame, relationships and the pressures of professional football. THE GAME is executive produced by Mara Brock Akil, Salim Akil, Kenny Smith, Erica Montolfo-Buro and Kelsey Grammer.
