ASTRONAUT WIVES CLUB, THE (ABC/ABC Studios; W: Stephanie Savage; D: Nick Cassavetes) - Odette Annable ("Banshee") has been cast in the summer drama, which tells the true story of the women behind NASA's early astronauts and the struggles they face when their lives and families are catapulted into the spotlight overnight. She'll play Trudy Cooper, "the youngest of the Astro-wives and a licensed pilot herself." Azure Parsons, JoAnna Garcia Swisher and Zoe Boyle also star. (Deadline.com)


BAD JUDGE (NBC/Universal; W: Adam McKay, Chad Kultgen & Chris Henchy; D: TBA) - Miguel Sandoval ("Medium") has been cast in the comedy pilot, about Rebecca Wright (Kate Walsh), a hard-living, sexually unapologetic woman who plays with the law, despite the fact she also happens to be a judge in the criminal court system. He'll play Judge Connors, "her boss on the San Bernardino County bench, who gives her extra work because he believes in her as a judge." Arden Myrin, John Ducey, Mather Zickel and Tone Bell also star. (Deadline.com)


ELLEN MORE OR LESS (NBC/Universal; W: J.J. Philbin; D: Peyton Reed) - Jama Williamson ("Parks & Recreation") has been tapped for a role on the comedy pilot, about Ellen (Stacey McGunnigle), an average-size woman who, after losing 100 pounds, begins reinventing herself in life and love. She'll play Melissa, "Ellen's insecure co-worker who's desperately in love with Jerry (Chris Diamantopoulos)." Joshua Gomez and Tate Ellington also star. (Deadline.com)


FLESH & BONE (Starz; W: Moira Walley-Beckett; D: David Michod) - Josh Helman and Damon Herriman have both scored roles on the upcoming drama, which follows Claire Robbins (Sarah Hay), a young ballet dancer with a distinctly troubled past, as she joins a prestigious ballet company in New York. The former is on board as Bryan, "who just returned home with a bad case of PTSD after serving in combat overseas"; with the latter as Romeo, "a strange and engaging homeless guy who lives on the roof of Claire and Mia's Lower East side building." Ben Daniels, Emily Tyra, Irina Dvorovenko and Raychel Diane Weiner also star. (Deadline.com)


FOREVER (ABC/Warner Bros.; W: Matthew Miller; D: Brad Anderson) - Joel David Moore, Barbara Eve Harris and Donnie Keshawarz will round out the cast of the drama pilot, about Dr. Henry Morgan (Ioan Gruffudd), a 200-year-old man who spends his days working in the New York City Morgue trying to find a key to unlock the curse of his immortality. Moore is set as Lucas Wan, a young ME tech and a bit of a hipster; with Harris as Roark, Jo's (Alana de la Garza) Lieutenant and a recovering alcoholic who's seen it all; and Keshawarz as Hanson, a no bullshit detective. Judd Hirsch also stars. (Deadline.com)


GUILT BY ASSOCIATION (TNT; W: Dee Johnson & Marcia Clark; D: Nelson McCormick) - Tom Everett Scott and Niall Matter are both bound for the drama pilot, about Rachel Knight (Julia Stiles), a gutsy Deputy District Attorney in the Special Trials Unit of the D.A.'s office for L.A. County. She works closely with a tough-as-nails female LAPD detective named Bailey Keller (Elisabeth Rohm) and a stylish female prosecutor named Toni LaCollette (Rose Rollins), both of whom routinely crash at Rachel's place. Scott will play Eric Northup, "the Head Deputy of the Special Trials Unit"; with Matter as Lt. Graden Hales, Keller's boss. (Deadline.com)


HAND OF GOD (Amazon; W: Ben Watkins; D: Marc Forster) - Julian Morris ("Pretty Little Liars") has joined the cast of the Ron Perlman-led drama pilot, about the powerful Judge Harris Pernell (Perlman), a hard-living, law-bending married man with a high-end call girl on the side who has a religious awakening and starts having visions and hearing voices through his ventilator-bound son that could be God speaking to him. He's set as Paul Dobson, "an actor-turned-preacher whose affinity for quick money and shortcuts have gotten him in trouble in the past." (Deadline.com)


HISTORY OF MUSIC (HBO; W: George Mastras & Terence Winter; D: Martin Scorsese) - Max Casella and Jack Quaid have both been cast in the drama pilot, about Richie Finestra (Bobby Cannavale), a cocaine-fueled record exec in New York City circa 1977, when punk, disco and a new form of music called hip-hop collided. The former will play Julian "Julie" Silver, "the nurturing but short-tempered Head of A&R of the label, who struggles to stay hip and relevant in the young man's game of the rock 'n' roll business." The latter then is on board as Clark Morelle, "a young A&R executive at the label who struggles for a foothold in the competitive environment of the A&R team." Juno Temple and Olivia Wilde also star. HOW I MET YOUR DAD (CBS/20th; W: Carter Bays, Craig Thomas & Emily Spivey; D: Pamela Fryman) - Nick D'Agosto, Andrew Santino and Anders Holm are the latest additions to the comedy pilot, which tells the "How I Met Your Mother" story from a female point of view, that of Sally (Greta Gerwig), and revolves around a new group of friends in New York. D'Agosto, who will continue to recur on "Masters of Sex," will play Frank, "the head of IT for Juliet's (Krysta Rodriguez) fashion blog who falls for Sally"; while Santino, whose involvement is in second position to "Mixology," is set as Danny, "Sally's older brother, a perfect but uptight overachieving lawyer." Rounding out the bunch is Holm as Gavin, "the (soon-to-be-ex) husband of Greta Gerwig's soulmate-searching Sally." Drew Tarver also stars. (TVLine.com)


MORE TIME WITH FAMILY (CBS/20th; W: Cathy Yuspa & Josh Goldsmith & Tom Papa; D: James Burrows) - Nancy Lenehan ("How to Be a Gentleman") is the latest addition to the comedy pilot, about a husband and father (Tom Papa) making a career change to spend more time with his wife (Alyson Hannigan) and kids. She'll play his mom, Barb, "the sweet, flighty, worrier-mother of the family." Joe Pantoliano also stars. (Deadline.com)


MYSTERIES OF LAURA, THE (NBC/Warner Bros.; W: Jeff Rake; D: McG) - Josh Lucas ("The Firm") has scored the male lead on the drama pilot, about Laura Diamond (Debra Messing), a female homicide detective who's great at her job but struggles to deal with her cheating husband and five-year-old identical twin boys. He'll play Jake Broderick, said husband, "a clever cop with keen instincts who winds up being captain in the same precinct as his soon-to-be ex-wife." Janina Gavankar and Laz Alonso also star. ODD COUPLE, THE (CBS/CTS; W: Joe Keenan & Matthew Perry; D: TBA) - Wendell Pierce ("The Michael J. Fox Show") has snagged a role on the comedy pilot, an updated take on Neil Simon's classic play, about two mismatched roommates, the messy Oscar Madison (Matthew Perry) and the neat freak Felix Unger (Thomas Lennon). He'll play Teddy, "a neurotic cop and a good buddy of Oscar's who goes to his apartment every week for Game Night." Sarah Baker also stars. (Deadline.com)


PROOF (TNT; W: Rob Bragin; D: Alex Graves) - Joe Morton ("Scandal") has scored a role on the drama pilot, about Katherine Russo (Jennifer Beals), a skeptical, hard science, female surgeon who is persuaded to investigate cases of reincarnation, out-of-body experiences, hauntings to find verifiable proof whether death truly is the end. He's set as Dr. Charles Russell (nee Oliver Stanton), "the serious, dry and - naturally - intimidating head of Katherine's hospital." Annie Thurman, Callum Blue, Caroline Rose Kaplan and Edi Gathegi also star. (THR.com)


RED ZONE (CBS/CTS/Universal; W: Nikki Toscano; D: James Foley) - Anthony LaPaglia ("Without a Trace") has snagged the lead role while Graham Rogers and David Castro have also been cast in the drama pilot, about Holden Weller (LaPaglia), a retired CIA operative who, when a terrorist event rocks Washington, D.C., is pulled back into action, forced to investigate closer to home where the next generation of terrorists are being bred. Rogers will play Jake Jordan, "an all-American teenager and second-string quarterback who has a special bond with Coach Weller"; while Castro is set as Reza Moussaf, "a smart and thoughtful new student at the high school who has just transferred there to play baseball." SCORPION (CBS/CTS; W: Nick Santora; D: Justin Lin) - Eddie Kaye Thomas and Jadyn Wong have both landed roles on the drama pilot, about Walter O'Neil (Elyes Gabel), an eccentric genius and his international network of super-geniuses who form the last line of defense against the complex threats of the modern age. He'll play Toby Bissel, a genius behaviorist who can "read" anybody and has fun with it; while she's set as the emotionally guarded Happy Quinn, who can fabricate anything. Robert Patrick also stars. SUPERNATURAL: BLOODLINES (The CW/Warner Bros.; W: Andrew Dabb; D: Robert Singer) - Bryce Johnson ("Pretty Little Liars") has scored a role on the proposed spin-off, about the various mafia-esque monster families that unknowingly to humans run the underbelly of Chicago and who are being tracked by Ennis Roth (Lucien Laviscount), a newly minted Hunter who's trying to stop them and rid Chicago of anything or anyone supernatural. While not specified, he'll presumably play Saul, the stylish brother of shapeshifter David Hayden (Nathaniel Buzolic). Danielle Savre, Melissa Roxburgh, Sean Faris and Stephen Martines also star. UNTITLED RICHARD LAGRAVENESE PROJECT (ABC/ABC Studios; W: Richard LaGravenese; D: Taylor Hackford) - Melissa George and Elliot Knight are both bound for the drama pilot, about the love and rivalry between Philip Fitzgerald Julien (Rufus Sewell) and Margot Worth Cole, two equally matched, powerful socialites who play out their obsessive attraction and seduction of each other through their manipulation of others. She'll play the aforementioned Margot, a beautiful woman whose power, style and intellect command attention the instant she enters a room. Knight then is set as Leo James, Philip's strikingly handsome, loyal, right arm. Oded Fehr, Katie Holmes and Daphne Rubin-Vega also star. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED WALL STREET PILOT (CBS/CTS; W: Ben Cavell, John Cusack, Kevin McCabe & Taylor Elmore; D: Niels Arden Oplev) - Joseph Lyle Taylor ("Justified") is the latest addition to the drama pilot, about Jackson Holliday (Charlie Cox), a smart, sophisticated, hedge fund trader trying to keep his integrity in the world of Wall Street power and money. He's on board as Philip Shaw, Conklin's (David Morse) thuggish fixer. Also starring are Maggie Grace and Sophie Okonedo. (Deadline.com)
