CLUB, THE (ABC/ABC Studios/CTS; W: David O. Russell & Susannah Grant; D: TBA) - Boris Kodjoe ("Undercovers") is the latest addition to the drama pilot, an upstairs/downstairs soap set at a private country club. He'll play Deacon Harris, "a Hall of Fame pro football player who moved his family back East and is trying his hand at real estate." The show's ensemble also includes Betsy Brandt, Callie Hernandez and Chris Conroy. (Deadline.com)
FEED ME (NBC/Universal; W: Sally Robinson; D: Michael Trim) - Toks Olagundoye ("The Neighbors") has snagged a role on the comedy pilot, about a dysfunctional family bound by love and the restaurant they run together. She'll play Meryl, "the live-in girlfriend-turned-fiancee of John (Ed Quinn), one of three grown-up children of restaurateur parents (Debra Monk, TBA) and brother of Emma (Mary-Louise Parker)." Said role is in second position to the ABC comedy. Ethan Peck and Hart Bochner also star. (Deadline.com)
GOOD SESSION (CBS/Warner Bros.; W: John Hamburg & Matt Miller; D: John Hamburg) - Ana Nogueira ("The Michael J. Fox Show") is the latest to be cast in the comedy pilot, about Joel (James Roday) and Lindsay (yet to be cast), a happy couple that goes to a therapist (Tracey Ullman) to help them decide if they should have a baby but quickly discover they have more to discuss. She'll play Lindsay's sister Abby, "a lovable mess who is always changing herself to suit the personality of her latest male suitor." Rich Sommer also stars. (Deadline.com)
HAND OF GOD (Amazon; W: Ben Watkins; D: Marc Forster) - Andre Royo ("The Wire") is the latest to board the drama pilot, about the powerful Judge Harris Pernell (Ron Perlman), a hard-living, law-bending married man with a high-end call girl on the side who has a religious awakening and starts having visions and hearing voices through his ventilator-bound son that could be God speaking to him. He's set as Bobo, "the local mayor and Pernell's best friend." Alona Tal, Garret Dillahunt and Julian Morris also star. (Deadline.com)
MATADOR (El Rey; W: Alex Kurtzman, Dan Dworkin, Jay Beattie & Roberto Orci; D: Robert Rodriguez) - Yvette Monreal (Harpies) has booked a role on the upcoming drama, about Antonio "Matador" Bravo (Gabriel Luna), a popular soccer star, who comes to be known as much for his playboy antics off the field as his dynamic moves on it. But what his fans and family don't realize is that it's all a cover - in truth, he is a skilled covert operative executing missions for a little known branch of the CIA. She'll recur as Senna Galan, "the cute, trouble-making only child of Adres Galan (Alfred Molina)." Nicky Whelan, Jonny Cruz and Dylan Bruce also star. (Deadline.com)
SOBER COMPANION (FOX/CTS; W: David S. Rosenthal & Jennie Snyder Urman; D: Don Scardino) - Dorian Brown, Mouzam Makkar and Mallory Mahoney have all landed roles on the comedy pilot, about Robert Lang (Nick Frost), a charming, but self-destructive attorney finds his world turned upside down when Jeremy Brummel (Justin Long), a court-appointed, and highly unconventional, sober companion takes control of his life. Brown will play Cate, "Robert's ex-wife and probably still the love of his life"; with Makkar as Alex, "Robert's competitive, self-confident sister"; and Mahoney as JoanJett, "Robert and Cate's young daughter." SURVIVOR'S REMORSE (Starz; W: Mike O'Malley; D: TBA) - Mike Epps has been cast in the upcoming comedy, set in the world of professional basketball and explores the comedy and drama of an experience that everyone reads about, but few understand - what truly happens when you make it out. He's set as "Cam's (Jessie T. Usher) uncle Julius, who moves from the Dorchester projects to an Atlanta mansion with his family after Cam gets a big pro contract." Erica Ash, RonReaco Lee, Teyonah Parris and Tichina Arnold also star. In addition, Epps will recur on BET's "Being Mary Jane" as Chris Warren, husband and a father who is in a great marriage, something Mary Jane (Gabrielle Union) covets." (Deadline.com)
YOUR FAMILY OR MINE (TBS/Sony; W: Greg Malins; D: Gail Mancuso) - JoBeth Williams ("Hart of Dixie") has scored a role on the pilot, a family comedy with an unusual structure: each episode focuses on a different side of the family. She'll play Ricky, Oliver's (Kyle Howard) mother, who always has perfect posture. Andrew Lees, Danny Comden and Kat Foster also star. Separately, Williams will guest star on NBC's comedy pilot "Marry Me" as Jake's (Ken Marino) mom Myrna. (Deadline.com)
