WE tv's NEWEST ORIGINAL SERIES "MARRIAGE BOOT CAMP: REALITY STARS" PREMIERES FRIDAY, MAY 30 AT 9PM ET/PT
New York, NY April 14, 2014 - See some of TV's most famous reality stars as you've never seen them before in WE tv's newest original series, MARRIAGE BOOT CAMP REALITY STARS. In desperate need of relationship therapy, these stars seek the help of highly sought after experts, Jim and Elizabeth Carroll. Premiering Friday, May 30 at 9PM ET/PT, MARRIAGE BOOT CAMP REALITY STARS follows Jenni "JWoww" Farley & Roger Mathews (Jersey Shore, Snooki & JWoww), Trista & Ryan Sutter (The Bachelor, The Bachelorette), Gretchen Rossi & Slade Smiley (The Real Housewives of Orange County), Traci Braxton & Kevin Surratt (Braxton Family Values), Tanisha Thomas & Clive Muir (Bad Girls Club) as they are pushed to the limit, emotionally and physically, to see if their relationships are worth saving or determine if it's time to call it quits.
Fame comes at a cost, and these reality stars are quickly learning the toll the bright lights are having on their personal lives. This season on MARRIAGE BOOT CAMP REALITY STARS, the five couples are forced to dig deep and put in the hard work necessary to save their relationships while checking their celebrity at the door. It's up them to decide if love trumps all as they participate in some of the most jaw-dropping, over-the-top exercises and drills, specifically designed to figure out what is crippling their relationships.
In the first episode, we meet the couples who have brought their relationship issues along with their baggage. This episode reveals that America's sweethearts and reality TV's premiere couple Trista & Ryan have hit some bumps during their 10-year marriage. Their differing personalities are causing a major lag in communication. Jersey Shore is also in the house, with hot-blooded duo, Jenni "JWoww" & Roger taking up residence in the mansion. Despite their very public engagement, this couple disagrees just how much of their relationship should be on camera. It's a rift that is tearing them apart. Fame-loving couple Gretchen & Slade have come under scrutiny about the authenticity of their relationship. Regardless, co-dependency issues and fear of commitment are making it difficult for the couple to take the next step. Infidelity has plagued Traci & Kevin's marriage for years, but recent cheating accusations are threatening their already damaged relationship and putting their marriage on the line. Cheating, massive arguments, and more cheating, Tanisha & Clive have simply reached rock-bottom and Marriage Boot Camp is their last chance to make things work.
The couples arrive at Marriage Boot Camp and the work begins immediately. Relationship experts Jim and Elizabeth Carroll lead the couples into their first exercise and the celebrity pairs are blindsided when they enter a press conference. Their greatest fears are realized when their most private moments are made public: a Boot Camp submission tape revealing each of the couples deepest secrets and marital woes is played for the alleged press. Chaos erupts when questions turn to Tanisha's infidelity and the former Bad Girl storms out of the room, threatening to leave the Boot Camp and her husband. In shock, the couples head to their rooms only to find their doors plastered with sensational headlines about their relationships. Boot Camp has begun and the Band-Aid has been ripped off, leaving these couples to rethink whether they have come to the right place for help.
It's getting real on MARRIAGE BOOT CAMP REALITY STARS and it's up to the stars to decide if fame and fortune is more important than love and marriage.
