NASHVILLE - June 3, 2014 - Country music's biggest party will hit Music City tomorrow when the 2014 CMT MUSIC AWARDS airs LIVE at 8:00 p.m. ET from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. In a press conference held earlier today with CMT MUSIC AWARDS host Kristen Bell and executive producers John Hamlin and Michael Dempsey, three special, star-studded performances were revealed. Hamlin teased the crowd by revealing that within the first five minutes of the show there would be three iconic songs featuring artists from three different genres, with a superstar surprise guest taking the stage alongside. Hamlin and Dempsey also announced that country superstars Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line will be teaming up with pop sensation Jason Derulo, nine-time Grammy-winner John Legend is set to take the stage with country stars Jennifer Nettles and Hunter Hayes and country icon Alan Jackson will be honored with a collaboration by Kacey Musgraves and Lee Ann Womack.
"I find the (awards) to be the best concert I've ever been to," Bell said. "I think the lineup, and with the amount of performers, it's destined to be the best one yet. Just the lineup of performers alone is pretty radical."
