AND IN OTHER NEWS... - FOX has nixed any potential burn off run this summer of its shelved comedy "Us & Them" (TVLine.com); Charles S. Dutton and Mike Epps have joined HBO's "Bessie" as William "Pa" Rainey and Richard Morgan, respectively (Deadline.com); James Tupper's David Clarke will return to "Revenge" as a full-fledged series regular next season (TVLine.com); John Doman will recur on Showtime's "The Affair" as Helen's (Maura Tierney) father, Bruce (Deadline.com);
Kerri Medders is bound for ABC Family's "Mystery Girls" as "Charlie's (Jennie Garth) daughter Demi, who's just learning about her mother's past life as a TV star," replacing her two daughters from the original pilot (Deadline.com); George Clooney and Grant Heslov's Smokehouse Pictures has inked an overall deal with Sony Pictures Television (Deadline.com); Universal Cable Productions is developing Robert Charles Wilson's best-selling sci-fi novel "Spin" as an event series (THR.com); and Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television has likewise snagged the rights to Robert Schenkkan's play "All the Way" for the small screen with Bryan Cranston potentially reprising his role of President Lyndon Johnson (Deadline.com).
