GALYNTINE (AMC; W: Jason Cahill; D: Greg Nicotero) - Steven Brand is the latest to be cast in the drama pilot, which takes place at a time after a cataclysmic technology-induced disaster has resulted in a new society that has eschewed any form of technology. He'll play Britt, "Haven's (Catherine Dent) husband. He is Essyn and Aethys' father, a once formidable hunter who's now a political figure in the colony." Alex Russell, Charlotte D'Ambroise and Peter Fonda co-star. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED DEBORAH SCHOENEMAN PROJECT (E!, New!) - Deborah Schoeneman has set up a potential drama at the network about "a young woman who has created a wildly successful (and controversial) app to rate/review men. Offline, the woman is struggling to find love." The project, from Warner Horizon Television, is based on her New York Times article, "What's He Really Like? Check the Lulu App." Offspring Entertainment's Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot will executive produce alongside Schoeneman with Alexandra Chong, one of the founders of the Lulu App, as a consulting producer. UNTITLED ETHAN REIFF/CYRUS VORIS PROJECT (Spike TV, New!) - Cyrus Voris and Ethan Reiff ("Legends") have sold a new drama project to the cable channel. Billed as "an hourlong political thriller," said effort comes from Kapital Entertainment with the company's Aaron Kaplan executive producing alongside said duo.
