AQUARIUS (NBC; W: John McNamara; D: Jonas Pate) - Michaela McManus, David Meunier, Chris Sheffield and Gaius Charles are the latest to join the upcoming drama, about the cat and mouse game between serial killer Charles Manson (Gethin Anthony) and the two cops tracking him, Sam Hodiak (David Duchovny) and Brian Shafe (Grey Damon), in 1960s Los Angeles. McManus will play Grace, Hodiak's ex-girlfriend; with Meunier as Manson's minion Roy, "a menacing biker with a personality to match"; Sheffield as Hodiak's son; and Charles as Bunchy Carter, "a former gang-banger who is now a fanatical Nation of Islam adherent whose hatred of the white man is evident." Emma Dumont also stars. Becky Clements, Alexandra Cunningham and Jonas Pate have also signed on as executive producers, the latter of which will direct the premiere. (THR.com, TVLine.com)
BEAUTIFUL & TWISTED (Lifetime, New!) - Rob Lowe is set to star in and executive produce a new original movie at the network "based on the true story of Ben Novack, Jr. (Lowe), millionaire heir to the Fountainebleau Miami Beach hotel fortune, whose brutal murder shook the city's elite to the core." Candice Bergen also stars as Ben's mother, Bernice Novak; with Paz Vega as Ben's wife Narcy, a former stripper. Sony Pictures Television is behind the project, penned by Teena Booth, Inon Shampanier, Natalie Shampanier and Stephen Kay. Judith Verno also serves as an executive producer. (Deadline.com)
