HGTV's "Love It or List It" Begins Production in Raleigh-Durham
New York [For Immediate Release - September 17, 2014] After wrapping a successful ninth season on HGTV, the top-rated series Love It or List It, starring real estate expert David Visentin and designer Hilary Farr, is heading to Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina to begin production for season 10. Producers at Big Coat Productions are actively seeking potential homeowners who are torn between renovating their existing home and relocating to a new residence.
In each hour-long episode of Love It or List It, David and Hilary compete to earn the homeowners' final decision to renovate and stay in their current home or opt for a new one. Hilary renovates and redecorates the worn-out home to increase its value and ensure that it meets the homeowners' current needs, while David activates his real estate expertise and insights to identify newer listings for the homeowners' consideration. In the end, the homeowners decide to stay in their newly transformed space or replace it with a new home.
Since it first hit the air on HGTV in fall 2011, Love It or List It has garnered a passionate fan base that includes such high-profile personalities as former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and actress Julianne Moore, who have both mentioned that that they are fans of the series in press interviews.
