LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC has ordered a full season of its freshman drama "Forever" while fellow newcomer "Selfie" won't be getting a back nine.
The latter news - as first reported by Deadline.com - comes on the heels of "Manhattan Love Story" getting the hook by the Alphabet two weeks ago.
"Selfie" posted a series low 0.9 adults 18-49 rating during its second of two episodes this past Tuesday, only a few ticks above the final airing of "Manhattan Love Story" on October 21. The series will nevertheless remain on the schedule for the rest of the month, with various holiday specials filling the Tuesday, 8:00/7:00c hour beginning December 2.
As for "Forever," the Ioan Gruffudd-led hour delivered a 1.1 18-49 rating in its last airing, drawing its biggest overall audience (5.0 million) in three weeks.
Both series come from Warner Bros. Television.
