HOWARD STERN TO RETURN AS JUDGE FOR SEASON TEN OF "AMERICA'S GOT TALENT"
NBC's No. 1 Summer Reality Series Continues Talent Search in Chicago Jan. 24 and 25
NEW YORK - Dec. 8, 2014 - Howard Stern is set to return as a judge on the milestone tenth season of NBC's top-rated summer competition series "America's Got Talent."
"I decided that a life without 'AGT' is not a life worth living," said Stern. "America needs a caring, compassionate and wise judge and who am I to deny the people what they want? It would be selfish of me to walk away."
Stern, who joined "America's Got Talent" in 2012, is a self-described "king of all media" and has been a prominent radio personality for more than 30 years. His current program is aired on subscription-only SiriusXM Radio and features a range of guests from all areas of entertainment and pop culture. Stern is also a bestselling author, actor and entrepreneur.
"Howard's wit and character bring an incomparable humor and insight to 'America's Got Talent,'" said Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Late Night Programming. "We are thrilled to have him return."
"I'm delighted that Howard is returning to America's Got Talent," said Trish Kinane, Executive Producer and President of Entertainment, FremantleMedia North America. "He is honest, charismatic and committed to finding the best talent in America. It's going to be an amazing Season 10."
