Company Earns 16 Golden Globe Awards Nominations With Recognition Across Five Divisions - SHOWTIME, CBS Television Studios, CBS Television Network, The CW and CBS Films

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - Dec. 11, 2014 - CBS Corporation this morning garnered 16 Golden Globe Award nominations across five divisions - SHOWTIME, CBS Television Studios, CBS Television Network, The CW and CBS Films - including triple crown recognition for the third year in a row for best series/film nominations across broadcast television ("The Good Wife" and "Jane the Virgin"), cable television ("The Affair") and film ("Pride").

The nominations for CBS Corporation are up from last year's 14.

SHOWTIME received nine nominations: Best TV Series, Drama ("The Affair"); Best Actress in a TV Series, Drama (Claire Danes in "Homeland"); Best Actor in a TV Series, Drama (Dominic West in "The Affair"); Best Actress in a TV Series, Drama (Ruth Wilson in "The Affair"); Best Actress in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy (Edie Falco in "Nurse Jackie"); Best Actor in a TV Series, Drama (Liev Schreiber in "Ray Donovan"); Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Miniseries or TV Movie (Jon Voight in "Ray Donovan"); Best Actor in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy (Don Cheadle in "House of Lies") and Best Actor in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy (William H. Macy in "Shameless").

CBS earned four nominations: Best Television Series - Drama ("The Good Wife" from CBS Television Studios); Best Actress in a TV Series, Drama (Julianna Margulies in "The Good Wife"); Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Mini-Series, or TV Movie (Alan Cumming in "The Good Wife") and Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Mini-Series, or TV Movie (Allison Janney in "Mom").

For the first time, The CW has been recognized with Golden Globe nominations, earning two: Best TV Series, Musical or Comedy ("Jane The Virgin" from CBS Television Studios) and Best Actress in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy (Gina Rodriguez in "Jane The Virgin").

CBS Films garnered one nomination: Best Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical ("Pride").

Of the 16 nominations, five were attributed to CBS Television Studios, which produces the "The Good Wife" and "Jane the Virgin."

In addition to the aforementioned nominated talent from CBS Corporation, Patricia Arquette, who stars in the upcoming CBS series "CSI: Cyber," was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in "Boyhood."
