LUMEN (TNT/ABCS; W: Chris Black; D: Joe Johnson) - Neil Jackson ("Sleepy Hollow") has scored a role on the drama pilot, about a family of four who finds themselves transported to the mystical alternate world inspired by the work of a missing author's (Wynn Everett) best-selling series of fantasy books. He's on board as Prince Dai of Lumen "who's also the long lost husband and father of the family. Stunned to see his wife and son in Lumen, Dai explains how he came to be on Earth and why he left them, unwillingly, to go back to Lumen, his home." Simon Kassianides, Zara Zoe and Sam Jaeger also star. (Deadline.com)

QUALITY TIME (TBS, New!) - Broken Lizard members Paul Soter, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme and Erik Stolhanske have scored a pilot order from the cable channel for a semi-autobiographical comedy about "four college buddies who kept their sophomoric ways in suspended animation throughout their 20s and are now succumbing to reproduction." Entertainment One's Michael Rosenberg and John Morayniss as well as Steven Amato and Michael Wallen are also among the executive producers. (Deadline.com)

VICE PRINCIPALS (HBO; W: Danny McBride & Jody Hill; D: TBA) - Da'vine Joy Randolph ("Selfie") and Sheaun McKinney ("Graceland") have both been cast in the upcoming Danny McBride-led comedy, which tells the story of a high school and the people who almost run it, the vice principals.
