LOS ANGELES, December 19, 2014 - Award-winning actor and director David Schwimmer has signed on to star as Robert Kardashian in the FX miniseries American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson.

Schwimmer will portray O.J. Simpson's confidant and attorney Kardashian, starring opposite Academy Award(R)-winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr. as O.J. Simpson and Emmy(R) Award and Golden Globe(R) Award nominated actress Sarah Paulson as prosecutor Marcia Clark.

American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson is written by Golden Globe-winning Executive Producers Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski. Based on the book The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson by Jeffrey Toobin, the miniseries is a look at the O.J. Simpson trial told from the perspective of the lawyers. He joins award-winning producers Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Scott Alexander, Larry Karaszewski, Brad Falchuk, and Dante Di Loreto as Executive Producers. American Crime Story: The People v. O.J.
