EPIX, NBC SPORTS NETWORK ANNOUNCE NEW YEAR'S EVE BLOCK FOR "EPIX PRESENTS ROAD TO THE NHL WINTER CLASSIC(TM)"
First Three Episodes to Air on NBC Sports Network December 31 from 8-11pm ET/PT, 7C as a Lead Up to the 2015 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic(R) at 1pm ET on New Year's Day
New York, NY - DECEMBER 29, 2014 - Premium entertainment network EPIX and NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) today announced that the first three episodes of EPIX Presents Road to the NHL Winter Classic(TM) series will now also be available in a special three-hour block on New Year's Eve on NBCSN, the first time the exclusive series will be carried on the network, which is the home of hockey in the U.S.
Pro duced by 52-time Emmy(R) Award winner Ross Greenburg, the series provides viewers an intimate look at the Chicago Blackhawks(R) and Washington Capitals(R)--in their professional and personal settings, capturing all the action, drama, heartaches, and triumphs as they unfold. The programming block will serve as a lead up to the 2015 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic(R) on New Year's Day between the Blackhawks and Capitals, which will air live on NBC at 1:00 pm ET. The final installment of the series will premiere exclusively on EPIX Tuesday, January 6 at 10pm ET/PT, 9C.

The series debuted on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, on EPIX as well as on NHL.com, EPIX.com and a host of other digital platforms and devices. New episodes premiere each week on EPIX every Tuesday at 10pm ET/PT, 9C through January 6.
