Each hour-long episode of WEB OF LIES features one true crime story interlaced with expert commentary from local authorities, true-crime experts, and psychologists, as well as first person accounts from friends and families of the victims.

But on Homecoming Day in 2012, Pasquale - and her beloved new bike - go missing. The small town of Clayton launches an enormous search party, but with no sign of Pasquale, they start to fear the worst. A trail is left behind on Facebook, but where will it lead?

City-girl Leslie Belkin moves down south to build her dream home and start a better life with her daughter in rural North Carolina. Looking for local friendship, she goes on Craigslist and quickly befriends a charming man named George Lamp, but when Belkin receives a phone call from Lamp's worried brother directing her to the Department of Corrections website, it turns out that she isn't the only casual encounter Lamp has made online.
