"SCANDAL" STARS JOE MORTON, KATE BURTON AND BRIAN LETSCHER TO APPEAR IN SPECIAL SEASON FINALE OF GSN'S "THE CHASE" TUESDAY, MARCH 10 AT 8:00 P.M. ET/PT

TV Stars Face the Ultimate Trivia Challenge in a Race to Beat "The Beast"

MARCH 2, 2015 (Santa Monica, CA) - Stars from the hit ABC drama series SCANDAL will be featured in a special season finale of GSN's Emmy(R)-nominated THE CHASE, airing Tuesday, March 10 at 8:00pm ET/PT. Actors Joe Morton, Kate Burton and Brian Letscher will face-off against British trivia master Mark Labbett (aka "The Beast") in the ultimate trivia challenge, attempting to raise money for their respective charities.

Hosted by Brooke Burns, THE CHASE is one of GSN's most popular original series, attracting more than 18 million total viewers since its premiere in August 2013. The season four premiere on January 27 saw its highest rating ever for a premiere. Throughout its season three run, the series posted impressive ratings growth among P18-49 (+52%), P25-54 (+56%), W25-54 (+36%), W18-49 (+30%), with total viewership up 37%, vs. GSN's year-to-date time period average.

Based on the highly successful UK format, THE CHASE is produced by ITV Studios America with Bob Boden, Michael Kelpie and Martin Scott serving as Executive Producers.

About THE CHASE:

In THE CHASE, a team of three contestants attempts to amass as much money as possible by answering quick-fire questions in a 60-second round. The money earned goes into a team bank, but their ability to keep the money can be thwarted by "The Beast," who is always lurking, ready to pounce. The Beast, at 6'7" and 370 lbs., with degrees from Oxford, Exeter and Glamorgan universities, is a quiz show genius and giant in every way. The job of this intimidating presence is to catch each contestant by answering more questions than his opponents, to ensure they are not able to bank their money. It's a role he executes with ruthless efficiency. In the final round, the teammates who have survived their initial "chase" collectively play against The Beast in an epic David vs Goliath battle for the entire amount they have banked.
