TNT Extends "Cold Justice" with Additional Spring & Summer Episodes, Plus Two New Justice Served Specials Hosted by John Walsh

Network Orders 12 Additional Episodes, with Spring Run Set to Launch April 10

As TNT's Cold Justice continues to bring closure to long-unsolved cases this winter, the powerful, real-life investigative series is already gearing up for the spring and summer with 12 additional episodes for the show's third season. TNT has also ordered two new Justice Served specials hosted by John Walsh (America's Most Wanted). The specials will update viewers on victims' families and the status of cases as they have proceeded through the legal system. In addition, the spring edition of Justice Served will include a look at Cold Justice: Sex Crimes, TNT's new series set to launch this summer. Cold Justice airs Fridays at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) on TNT, with availability via TNT On Demand and TNT's digital and mobile platforms the following day. The show's winter finale is set for March 6, with the spring episodes slated to launch April 10.

Cold Justice follows former prosecutor Kelly Siegler and former crime-scene investigator Yolanda McClary as they assist local law enforcement in trying to close long-unsolved cases. Since the show's premiere in September 2013, Siegler and McClary have assisted local law enforcement in a long string of successful investigations, securing a total of 22 arrests, 11 criminal indictments, four confessions, three guilty pleas and three convictions. Just before the start of season 3, Cold Justice helped land its first jury trial conviction.

In the upcoming spring episodes of Cold Justice, the team will investigate the disappearance of a surrogate mother, the killing of a well-respected doctor, the disappearance of a newlywed and a same-sex affair that might have led to murder. The team will also take on a case that has only been cold for three years, making it one of the newest cases they've ever tackled.

Also this spring and summer, John Walsh will be back to host two new Cold Justice: Justice Served specials, in which Siegler and McClary update viewers on the status of recent cases and the remarkable results that the show has helped achieve over the past year. With some cases already adjudicated and others in the midst of trial, there is a continuous stream of updates to be highlighted during the specials, the first of which is slated to air in May. The May special will also include a short preview of this summer's new spin-off series Cold Justice: Sex Crimes, which will focus on cold cases involving rape, sexual assault and abuse.

Cold Justice is produced for TNT by Wolf Reality and Magical Elves, with Emmy(R) winners Dick Wolf (Law & Order, Chicago Fire), Dan Cutforth & Jane Lipsitz (Top Chef, Project Greenlight) and Tom Thayer (Hitchcock, Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee), serving as executive producers.
