Disney|ABC Television Group and Yahoo Announce Expanded Relationship

Includes New Daily 'Yahoo Your Day' Series Featuring Top Yahoo Editors on Good Morning America and Special Content from Hit Shows Across DATG on Yahoo

ABC News and Yahoo News Celebrate 34th Consecutive Month as #1 Source of News and Information Online

New York, NY March 12th --- Disney|ABC Television Group and Yahoo today announced an extension and expansion of their long-standing relationship. Starting today, content from hit shows across DATG will be featured on Yahoo. On Monday, March 16th, Good Morning America will launch a new daily "Yahoo Your Day" series, featuring top Yahoo editors bringing Yahoo's category-leading digital magazines to America's number one morning show.

The Yahoo-ABC News Network has been the number one source of news and information online for 34 consecutive months and reaches over 129 million people across the combined digital platforms every month. Yahoo will develop a deeper collaboration with ABC News to feature ABC News content more often across the Yahoo network and connect with Yahoo's over one billion monthly active users, reaching a substantially greater audience.

The "Yahoo Your Day" daily franchise will feature Yahoo's top editors and experts, including Yahoo Style editor-in-chief Joe Zee, Yahoo Beauty editor-in-chief Bobbi Brown, Yahoo Health editor-in-chief Michele Promaulayko and Yahoo Food editor-in-chief Kerry Diamond. Flickr images will be integrated into Good Morning America's weather reports, and Tumblr will be featured in the morning show's 'Social Square'. ABC News and Yahoo News will deepen their collaboration on major news events, including the 2016 presidential election, and content from Yahoo Global News Anchor Katie Couric will be distributed across ABC News.

Special clips from across DATG, including hit shows like Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, Grey's Anatomy, Pretty Little Liars, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Dancing with the Stars, will now be available on Yahoo Screen and Yahoo TV. Today, viewers will find an exclusive clip from the stars of Scandal, a sneak peek from the next episode of Scandal, and a special video from Jimmy Kimmel Live.

"Our partnership with Yahoo has thrived in the last 3 three years, creating and delivering to millions a rich blend of live breaking news, major special events, historic newsmaker interviews and compelling digital original series," said James Goldston, president, ABC News. "The combination of ABC News' world-class journalism, DATG's hit programming and Yahoo's vast digital network, talent and technology is an unstoppable force. I'm incredibly excited about what the future will bring."

"Everyday, Yahoo creates content for our audiences in the subjects that matter most to them - news, fashion, beauty, travel, entertainment, sports and more. In less than a year since their founding, Yahoo's Digital Magazines have quickly become leading digital and mobile content destinations, with our style & beauty, travel and parenting magazines ranked number one in their respective categories. We look forward to sharing their magazine content in a fresh new format every morning on Good Morning America," said Kathy Savitt, CMO and Head of Media, Yahoo. "In addition, we are pleased to make Yahoo the ultimate destination for fans of hit ABC programming by providing them with special access to their favorite shows."

"We're happy that the fans of our shows will now be able to have access to them through Yahoo with this enhanced deal," Paul Lee, president, ABC Entertainment Group.

GoodMorningAmerica.com on Yahoo is America's number one morning show website, averaging 39 million monthly desktop video views. Plus, the Yahoo-ABC News Network is ranked as the top mobile news source; 62% of people who get their news on a mobile device choose the Yahoo-ABC News Network.
