Bomer Stars Alongside Previously Announced Lady Gaga;
Cheyenne Jackson Will Also Join the Cast for Next Installment of Horror Anthology Series
Production of the 13-Episode Installment Hotel Will Begin in Late Summer and air on FX in October
LOS ANGELES, March 15, 2015 - Fresh off his Golden Globe win for Ryan Murphy's Emmy(R)-winning The Normal Heart, Matt Bomer will star alongside Lady Gaga in the next installment of American Horror Story: Hotel, it was announced this evening at PaleyFest. Also announced was the addition of Cheyenne Jackson (30 Rock, Glee) to the ensemble of the eagerly anticipated fifth installment of FX's horror anthology series.
Bomer is no stranger to the world of American Horror Story, having appeared in the last installment, American Horror Story: Freak Show. He won the Golden Globe and Critics' Choice Award for his performance in The Normal Heart. He starred for six seasons on USA's White Collar. He will soon be seen in the features Magic Mike XXL and The Nice Guys and the HBO film Monty Clift.
Jackson guest starred on Ryan Murphy's Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning Glee in addition to 30 Rock and the feature films Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks and United 93.
Production of the 13-episode Hotel will begin in Los Angeles in late summer, and will air on FX in October. The American Horror Story franchise is produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television.
