THE BIGGEST FAMILY OF LITTLE PEOPLE COMES TO TLC IN THE NEW SERIES "7 LITTLE JOHNSTONS"
[Los Angeles, CA] - After charming the nation in their hit one-hour special this past January, 7 LITTLE JOHNSTONS, is returning to TLC in a brand new series premiering on March 31st at 10/9c.The 10-episode season will follow the Johnston family, the world's largest known family of Achondroplasia dwarfs, as they prove that size only matters in the amount of love a family can provide.
The upcoming season of 7 LITTLE JOHNSTONS has the family dealing with first-time dating rules, a disastrous attempt at discussing the "birds and the bees," nail-biting soccer team tryouts, and vacation-changing illnesses. In addition, parents Trent and Amber try to find a balance between maintaining the spark in their marriage and raising 5 children, all amidst a massive home renovation.
MEET THE JOHNSTON FAMILY
Trent, 38, is the family patriarch and the grounds supervisor at a local college. Trent is also a handyman who takes pride in renovating the Johnston family home, and can build or fix just about anything.
Amber, 35, is a stay-at-home mother who prides herself on teaching her children how to adapt to their world rather than modify it to fit their needs. The glue of the family, Amber works hard to make sure her family is happy and healthy every day. Amber and Trent have been married for 16 years.
Jonah, 15, is the eldest biological son of Trent and Amber. Part of the drum line in his high school band, Jonah performs complex routines during football games while being cheered on by his family and friends.
Anna, 14, was adopted by Trent and Amber from Siberia, Russia. Although she recently underwent spinal fusion surgery, Anna doesn't let her healing interfere with hanging out with her friends.
Elizabeth, 13, is the social butterfly of the group. She is Trent and Amber's second biological child, and she spends her days hanging out with her friends at football games and cheering on her family.
Alex, 9, was adopted into the Johnston family from Seoul, South Korea. A jokester with a never-ending sense of humor, Alex plays his part by keeping the Johnstons on their toes.
