Grace Billets, Lance Reddick (Fringe, The Wire) as Deputy Chief Irvin Irving, and Sarah Clarke (24) as Eleanor Wish. "We're delighted to see that Amazon customers have immediately embraced Bosch," said Roy Price, Vice President, Amazon Studios. "Fans will soon be able to enjoy more of this inspired adaptation brought to life by a remarkably gifted cast."
"I am very excited about continuing the Bosch story with season two," said Michael Connelly. "I love what we started with and I think our plans for the second season will make the show even better and more exploratory of the character of Harry Bosch. We have a great cast and crew and we are all going to be one year better at this. I can't wait."
"It is great news that the huge success of the first season on Amazon has led to this swift recommission," said Henrik Pabst, Managing Director at Red Arrow International. "The response from international broadcasters, viewers and the press has been unprecedented, and we are excited about the ongoing future of this new crime franchise, and enjoying its success with Amazon. Congratulations to everyone involved."
In the second season of Bosch, the relentless LAPD detective will investigate the murder of a Hollywood producer who laundered money for the mob. He will also pursue serial killer Chilton Hardy and the investigations take Bosch from the Hollywood Hills down through the gritty back streets of L.A. and Las Vegas, threatening those closest to him--his teenage daughter and ex-wife. There have been 19 Harry Bosch novels published since 1992, including 2014's number-one bestseller The Burning Room.
Prime members can now watch all ten episodes of Bosch as often as they would like from the Amazon Instant Video app for TVs, connected devices and mobile devices, or online at Amazon.com/boschtv, at no additional cost to their membership. Here is what customers said about the first season of Bosch:
· "Great series! I loved the books, and was almost afraid to watch as sometimes it's not as good but it is!! It is well done, cast excellent, follows the heart of the book. And Titus Welliver is the perfect Bosch. He did Bosch justice. I cannot wait for more, I hope they make many, many more."
· "Excellent! All around excellent: the casting, the acting, the writing: everything was done to perfection. Can't wait for more."
· "I'm loving this series. And Titus Welliver has finally given me a face/person to go with my reading Michael Connelly's Bosch series of books. The action is tight and believable, Harry Bosch is flawed, yet human. Great stories and great performances."
· "Excellent show. Really enjoyed everything about it. The characters and story lines were well developed. A home run for Michael Connelly."
· "I've checked out a lot of stream-able series and there are only a handful that hold my interest and impress me. Bosch totally held my interest and impressed the heck out of me. Can't wait for more."
What critics are saying about Bosch:
· "Welliver, all confident minimalism, quietly commands your attention with his naturally fierce charisma." - Jeff Jensen, Entertainment Weekly
· "Titus Welliver sensationally nails Harry's gruff demeanor." - Matt Roush, TV Guide

· "A perfect rendering of Michael Connelly's popular series of novels...the streaming equivalent of a book you can't put down." - David Hiltbrand, Philadelphia Inquirer
· "A damn good hour-long cop drama" - Dominic Patten, Deadline Hollywood
