LIFETIME MAKES ROMANTIC FANTASIES COME TRUE WITH DIGITAL PLATFORM "FALL INTO ME"
Marking Lifetime's First Original Scripted Content for Non-Linear Distribution,
Franchise to Feature Short-Form Romantic Dramas
NEW YORK, NY (April 30, 2015) - Marking its first original scripted content for non-linear distribution, Lifetime will launch the short-form digital platform Fall Into Me (working title), featuring eight series of romantic drama stories for today's modern and tech-savvy woman, it was announced today by Rob Sharenow, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Lifetime.
Catering to the fast-growing romance-fiction marketplace, each of the eight series on the Fall Into Me platform consists of eight webisodes, six-minutes in length, taking viewers on journeys full of passion and excitement that can be discreetly enjoyed on phones and tablets. The romantic digital episodes will be told from a woman's point-of-view, in close-camera form, drawing the viewer deeper into the intimacy and romance of each story. The concept for Fall Into Me comes from Daytime Emmy(R) Award nominee Guy Shalem (Lovespring International, Betty White's Off their Rockers), who will lead a team of creative storytellers for each series on the platform. Produced by Propagate Content, the Fall Into Me series will be executive produced by Shalem, Howard T. Owens and David McKillop. The platform will launch this year.
"The romance-fiction world is increasingly going digital," said Sharenow. "By introducing Fall Into Me, we are giving the genre's loyal community of fans a fresh take on short stories of passion and seduction they can watch at their leisure or on the go and share among their social circles within the digital space."
