NEW EPISODES OF TLC'S "LOVE, LUST OR RUN" PREMIERE FRIDAY, JUNE 12 AT 9/8C
(New York, NY) - Just in time for TLC's resident fashion guru to bring summer salvation to the fashionably challenged, Stacy London returns on Friday, June 12 at 9/8c in all-new episodes of LOVE, LUST OR RUN.
This season covers a diverse group of women who are in desperate need of an overhaul. Their stories are varied, relatable, and powerful, and as Stacy offers her insight and invaluable advice, family, friends and viewers will witness some of the most over-the-top fashion choices transformed into jaw-dropping reveals.
In every episode of LOVE, LUST OR RUN, produced by True Entertainment, Stacy coaches each woman on her questionable fashion decisions and, under Stacy's tutelage, she discovers what impact her wardrobe choices are having on her life. First, each woman's outrageous look is shown to strangers on the street who rate her style as either "love," "lust" or "run." Next, the woman in question strips off her hair extensions, wild clothes and garish makeup in order to start over as a "blank slate." Stacy then guides each woman through a transformative make-under, which will drastically change her look and allow her to channel what she really wants from the outside world. Episodes culminate when Stacy again takes to the streets to ask strangers to rate the woman's new and improved style.
Some of the dramatic transformations and emotional backstories this season include:
Lisa - A single mother who has survived cancer and a heart transplant, but will she be able to handle a makeover?
Sarah - A community advocate, entrepreneur and artist who has never felt pretty or comfortable in her own skin.
Tracy - A nurse who has never truly felt feminine and overindulges on vintage clothing. Growing up, Tracy had a lazy eye and had to wear an eye patch, for which she was bullied. She's ready to find a new look that will help her embrace her "girly" side.
Taquoia - A former tomboy turned stylist who can't style herself AT ALL. This larger-than-life personality wants a career as successful as her idol Stacy London has, but wearing yellow, blue and green lipstick to match her ever-changing hair seems to be getting in the way of clients taking her seriously.
Ebonie - A single mom who grew up in a very strict family as a Jehovah's Witness. She's rebelled too far in the other direction and needs to be reined in.
