INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY STAKES OUT A SECOND SEASON OF "CRY WOLFE" FEATURING PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR BRIAN WOLFE

(Silver Spring, Md.) - From a two-timing tutor to a backstabbing brother, Investigation Discovery's popular series CRY WOLFE returns for a second season of sensational stakeouts with no-nonsense private investigator Brian Wolfe. Inspired by true accounts from his actual case files, each half-hour episode features Wolfe and his investigative team as they expose cheating spouses, dishonest employees, con artists, and scammers while revealing double lives and deception, often hiding in plain sight. The new season of CRY WOLFE premieres Tuesday, June 16 with back-to-back episodes beginning at 10/9c on Investigation Discovery.

Tapping into more than 25 years of P.I. experience, Wolfe hits the streets to collect evidence in the field while his cyber-sleuth assistant Janine McCarthy gathers irrefutable intel over the Internet. From elaborate disguises to extensive background checks, hidden cameras to digging through the trash, Wolfe pulls whatever tricks he can out of his arsenal of tried-and-true P.I. tactics to uncover the truth behind his client's suspicion. "I can't always make it right, but I can expose a wrong," says Wolfe.

Cameras follow Wolfe through each phase of the investigation - from the first covert consultation with his new client to the always-emotional showdown that exposes the truth. While McCarthy is a pro at sifting through the online paper trails, Wolfe leads the investigation the old-fashioned way, tailing the "target," posing undercover and setting up intricate sting operations. Viewers are kept in suspense as the twists and turns reveal a shadowy world where things aren't always as they seem. Each episode ends with a heated confrontation, resolution for the client, and update cards letting viewers know the current status of the situation.

The season two "line-up" includes:

Girl Gone Wild: Tuesday, June 16 at 10/9c * Season 2 Premiere

A girl awakes to find she's been banged up and blackmailed; she must pay a large amount of money to stop a creep from posting her nude pictures online. The truth is revealed when private investigator Brian Wolfe takes the case.

Brotherly Love: Tuesday, June 16 at 10:30/9:30c

Feeling more than just the pre-wedding jitters, a suspicious groom has his fiancée investigated just weeks before their big day. But after tracking the woman for several days, Wolfe determines the only man she's been sneaking around with is his client, or at least it looks like his client.

Deep Inside: Tuesday, June 22 at 10/9c

Wolfe and his team go deep undercover at an upscale resort in Huntington Beach, CA to bust an employee who has been stealing from the guest rooms. Posing as wealthy guests, they set up an elaborate sting operation, which reveals a shocking surprise.

Hot for Teacher: Tuesday, June 22 at 10:30/9:30c

A desperate mother suspects her son is using drugs and seeks Wolfe's help to uncover the truth. But Wolfe gets "schooled" in this investigation, uncovering a web of lies and deceit that involve the son's tutor.

BRIAN WOLFE'S BIO
