NEW SEASON OF "FEHERTY" KICKS OFF WITH 2012 U.S. OPEN CHAMPION WEBB SIMPSON TOMORROW AT 9 P.M. ET ON GOLF CHANNEL

House Speaker John Boehner; National Championship-Winning College Football Coaches Nick Saban and Steve Spurrier; 2014 European Ryder Cup Captain Paul McGinley Lead Lineup of Additional Guests

Emmy-Nominated "Outstanding Sports Personality" David Feherty Returns with a Fifth Season of His Primetime Interview Series

ORLANDO, Fla. (June 9, 2015) - Golf's resident funnyman David Feherty, host of Golf Channel's Feherty, returns for a fifth season on a new night, Wednesday, June 9 at 9 p.m. ET. The season kicks off with Major Champion, four-time PGA TOUR winner and two-time Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup team member Webb Simpson. The Charlotte, N.C. resident welcomes the uninhibited Feherty into his home to discuss his career accomplishments to date, and to recall the awkward moment that interrupted his trophy presentation following his U.S. Open victory in 2012 at The Olympic Club.

Additional guests scheduled to appear in 2015 include John Boehner, U.S. House of Representatives Speaker, as well as college football National Championship-winning coaching icons, Nick Saban (Head Coach, University of Alabama) and Steve Spurrier (Head Coach, University of South Carolina). Other golf personalities slated to sit down with Feherty include Peter Jacobsen, fellow on-air golf analyst; Dave Stockton, two-time major champion and renowned golf instructor; and Paul McGinley, captain of the 2014 winning European Ryder Cup team; among others through the remainder of the season.

Earning critical acclaim for his refreshing interviewing style, the self-deprecating Feherty employs his laid back approach when sitting down with the most recognized names in entertainment, politics and sports to bring out laughs and an often seldom seen emotional side from his guests. He also makes a habit of engaging in his guests' favorite places and activities to help capture the location of each episode. This season, Feherty will set off on an adventure to Dinosaur World outside of Tampa, Fla. with Jacobsen; spend time McGinley (an avid European soccer fan) at the Citrus Bowl, which is home to Orlando City, the new MLS Soccer expansion team; and explore the nation's capital with Speaker Boehner.

The first four episodes slated to air include:

Wednesday, June 10 Webb Simpson

Wednesday, June 24 Peter Jacobsen

Wednesday, July 1 Dave Stockton

Wednesday, July 8 Paul McGinley

Feherty originally debuted in June 2011 as the most-watched original series in Golf Channel history and Feherty - Emmy nominated in 2014 for Outstanding Sports Personality - has gone one-on-one with celebrities across golf, sports and entertainment, including former President Bill Clinton, basketball Hall-of-Famers Bill Russell and Charles Barkley, sportscasters Al Michaels and Dan Patrick, actors Don Cheadle and Samuel L. Jackson, and golfers Tom Watson and Greg Norman.
