LACEY CHABERT WAKES UP TO A NEW FAMILY IN "FAMILY FOR CHRISTMAS" A HALLMARK CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE WORLD PREMIERE JULY 11
Santa's Sneak Peek Gift to Holiday Movie Enthusiasts
Thanks to a little Christmas magic, a single career woman experiences life as a stay-at-home mom in "Family for Christmas," a Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere Saturday, July 11 (9pm ET/PT, 8C). Lacey Chabert ("All of My Heart," "Mean Girls") stars as an investigative reporter who one day wakes up as a mother of two in this holiday romantic comedy. Tyron Leitso ("My Boyfriends' Dogs") stars alongside Chabert and young talent Milli Wilkinson ("The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2") along with Audrey Smallman ("Go With Me") join the talented cast. "Family for Christmas" is part of Hallmark Channel's CHRISTMAS KEEPSAKE event, a 10-day celebration in July featuring the network's most popular, fan favorite holiday movies around the clock including the Hallmark Channel premiere of "Home Alone" and the world premiere of "Family for Christmas."
"Lacey Chabert lights up the screen in 'Family for Christmas,' and we are so fortunate that she has brought her talent and contagious energy to another Hallmark Channel project," said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming and Publicity, Crown Media Family Networks. "The top talent and heartwarming stories that fill our Christmas Keepsake event, continue to make Hallmark Channel the number one destination for holiday programming."
At the height of her career, investigative journalist Hannah Dunbar (Chabert) finds herself wondering what would have been had she stayed with the love of her life, Ben (Leitso), 10 years before. When Santa Claus hears her "what ifs?" as a Christmas wish, he transports Hannah to a version of her life where she and Ben started a family. Hannah - who literally becomes a mother overnight - navigates the comical day-to-day challenges of life in the suburbs with Ben and their daughters Caitlin (Wilkinson) and Hailie (Smallman). Though she once thought she had it all with her glamorous big city career, Hannah discovers all the love, family, and Christmas spirit she had been missing.
"Family for Christmas" is a Christmas Wish Productions and Johnson Production Group production. Timothy O. Johnson is the executive producer. Oliver De Caigny is the producer. Amanda Tapping directs from a script by Bryar Freed.
